20 Zinedine Zidane (FRANCE v England, 2004)

More hope, more despair. A major tournament that 約束d so much and 配達するd 正確に nothing. I’m laughing on the inside, really.

Sven Goran Eriksson’s men looked good in this opener with Les Bleus and as Real Madrid team-mates David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane locked horns it was 1-0 to Beckham who 始める，決める up Frank Lampard’s opener.

19 Dan Petrescu (England v ROMANIA, 1998)

More hopes and dreams dashed for England at a World Cup, makes me やめる glum just thinking about it.

16 Andres Iniesta (Chelsea v BARCELONA, 2009)

You may remember that Didier Drogba had a word or two to say after this match, a tie Chelsea so very nearly won.

15 Ronnie Boyce (Preston v WEST HAM, 1964)

14 David Platt (ENGLAND v Belgium, 1990)
