It was a »öÎã¡¿´µ¼Ô of the ¡Æcalma before the Íò¡¿½±·â¤¹¤ë¡Ç this week when Jude Bellingham spoke to Spanish television ahead of Saturday's Clasico.

¡ÆI always remember Cristiano Ronaldo¡Çs ½Ë²ì telling everyone ¡Ècalma, calma¡É,¡Ç said the England midfielder of his memories of watching the fixture at home. Some Spanish words are easier to learn than others.

At 20, Bellingham will be the youngest player in a Real Madrid shirt on the pitch in Catalonia on Saturday, but in Alejandro Balde (20, but born four months later), Gavi (19) and Lamine Yamal (16), there will be three players his junior lining up for Barcelona.

It¡Çs the Baby Clasico but grown-up Jude can »ÙÇÛ¤¹¤ë it because, as everyone in Spain has already worked out, he is ±ß½Ï¤·¤¿ °æ¸Í¡¿ÊÛ¸î»ÎÀÊ beyond his years.

Speaking to Mail Sport this week, former Real Madrid player and assistant coach Aitor Karanka ²òǤ¤¹¤ëd that when he moved to manage Birmingham City in July 2020 he ½Ï¹Í¤¹¤ë¡¿¹Íθ¤¹¤ëd the previous season¡Çs games, and realised the club¡Çs standout player was the one they had just sold to Borussia Dortmund.

Karanka knew he was losing a ÊúÍʤ¹¤ë talent and dressing room leader. ¡ÆThis is a kid who gets sold, and it was all agreed, but Birmingham still needed three points to °ÂÁ´¤Ê¡¦Êݾڤ¹¤ë safety and he (Bellingham) said that until the club is °ÂÁ´¤Ê he was going to keep playing.

¡ÆHe was 17 years old at that point! Any other player, if Borussia Dortmund had come and put É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë the money for you, would say, ¡ÈThanks guys, I¡Çm off¡É. When you see a young man think like that, you can only imagine what can happen to him when he also has everything as a footballer.¡Ç

Karanka won three »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ôs League ¸ª½ñ¤òÍ¿¤¨¤ës at Madrid as a player, but says it is never plain sailing at the most ¼ûÍס¦Í׵᤹¤ëing club in the world. After a 6-2 ÇÔËÌ¡¦É餫¤¹ at Valencia he was out with his mother when two people told him: ¡ÆQue malo eres¡Ç (¡Æyou¡Çre terrible¡Ç). His mother È¿±þ¤¹¤ëd to the Ãæ½ý¤¹¤ë by asking Karanka why he hadn¡Çt Åú¤¨¤ë¡¿±þ¤¸¤ëd.

It¡Çs been all bouquets so far for Bellingham and if he comes out on ºÇ¹â¤Î¡¤¤ò±Û¤¹ Saturday, they will be waiting for him »Ù±ç¤¹¤ë in Madrid with more. His ÎäÀŤʡ¿ÀµÌ£¤Î Ĺ¡¤Î¨¤¤¤ë has been part of his success so far and for all that a simmering Îó¡¿Á椰¡¿ÁûÆ° between the clubs means the ÅÁÅýŪ¤Ê pre-game meal is off the menu, out on the pitch there is very little of the animosity that has often ¼¨¤¹d the fixture.

¡ÆIt goes in cycles,¡Ç says Karanka. ¡ÆThis is a Clasico with young players. Maybe they have a ¤¤¤Ã¤½¤¦¾¯¤Ê¤¯ of a feeling of what this game is yet.¡Ç

Bellingham knows what the game means because he was watching Ronaldo and his ¡ÆÀŤá¤ë É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë¡Ç goal ½Ë²ì »Ù±ç¤¹¤ë in 2012. The Portuguese º£¸å had ÆÀÅÀ¤¹¤ë¡¿ÈóÆñ¤¹¤ë¡¿£²£°d the ¾¡Íø¼Ô in a 2-1 victory five games from the end of the season which all but Êݾڤ¹¤ëd Madrid would be »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ôs.

Victory here would only open up a four-point gap over Barca with 27 games left. But it would be another marker laid É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë by the world¡Çs best player in waiting.

Clasico weeks in Spain ¶¡µë¤¹¤ë plenty of ŬÀڤʻþ´üs to speak to former Barca and Madrid players and Javier Saviola, who turned out for both clubs, was asked who he thought who would ¾¡Íø¡¤¾¡¤Ä next year¡Çs Ballon d¡ÇOr.

The former Argentina striker said of Bellingham: ¡ÆHe can do so many different things. To ¾¡Íø¡¤¾¡¤Ä th e Ballon d¡ÇOr you have to be very ´°Á´¤Ë¤¹¤ë and I think he is.¡Ç

Mbappe helps PSG lay ghost of St James¡Ç Park to »Ä¤ê¡¿µÙ·Æ¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë

Euro ¤È¤¸¹þ¤ß¡¿Äó½Ð¤¹¤ës¡Ç bold ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ë that Paris Saint-Germain could ¾¡Íø¡¤¾¡¤Ä the »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ôs League looked daft after they were swept away by Newcastle three weeks ago, but Wednesday¡Çs 3-0 ¾¡Íø¡¤¾¡¤Ä over AC Milan leaves them ºÇ¹â¤Î¡¤¤ò±Û¤¹ of Group F at the halfway ¹Ô¤¦¡¿³«ºÅ¤¹¤ë¡¿Ãʳ¬.

Luis Enrique started with the three-man midfield he strangely discarded for the trip to St James¡Ç Park and 17-year-old ²áÌ©¤Ê½»µï Zaire-Emery was brilliant in it.

Kylian Mbappe (¸¢Íø) was also on form against one of the teams he supported as a kid ¡½ it turns out he didn¡Çt only wear a Real Madrid shirt when he was out playing with his friends. And even habitual ¹¶·â¤¹¤ë¡¤¾×Æͤ¹¤ë-and-¹ÔÊýÉÔÌÀ¤Ë¤Ê¤ë merchant Ousmane Dembele played °æ¸Í¡¿ÊÛ¸î»ÎÀÊ.

Perhaps the ½ÅÍ×¤Ê for PSG this season is to not run away with Ligue 1 too Áá´ü¤Ë. They go into this ½µËö¡Çs °ìÏ¢¤Î²ñµÄ¡¢¸ò¾Ä¡¿´°À®¤¹¤ë of matches third and are not alone in ľÌ̤¹¤ëing a fight to defend their ±É´§¤òÍ¿¤¨¤ë, because in Èó¡¤ÉÔ¡¤Ìµ of Europe¡Çs big five leagues do last season¡Çs »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ôs lead the way.

Mourinho shuts É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë the idiots

Jose Mourinho is banned from Sunday's visit to his old club ¤Î´Ö¤Î Milan and it¡ Çs hard to know if that is a good thing for him.?

When Stephan El Shaarawy ÆÀÅÀ¤¹¤ë¡¿ÈóÆñ¤¹¤ë¡¿£²£°d a 90th-minute ¾¡Íø¼Ô against Monza last week Mourinho celebrated in Á°Àþ of the ˬÌä¼Ôs¡Ç ¡ÊË¡Äî¤Î¡ËºÛȽ, shushing his ¶¥ÁèÁê¼ê coach and pretending to wipe away ÎÞ¡¿¤Û¤³¤í¤Ós.

Mourinho said of the ¶Ø»ß¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë: ¡ÆIt has to be the same for everyone. I¡Çve seen other coaches make the same gesture I did or even worse.¡Ç?

So he will be in the stands at the San Siro as his team visit the Serie A leaders.

Mourinho also said ¤Î´Ö¤Î, with the squad they have, should ¾¡Íø¡¤¾¡¤Ä the league by 20 points.

So is he better off out of the dugout? On suggestions he had Áª¤Öd up the red card deliberately, he said: ¡ÆSo many idiots have said idiotic things. I¡Çm Roma coach, of course I want to be with my team.¡Ç
