Tired? Give it a 残り/休憩(する). If Man City keep talking about feeling jaded then they'll start to believe they are, 令状s GRAEME SOUNESS

  • Pep Guardiola and Man City must park comments about tiredness and move on?

Never in my 50-半端物 years in this game have I heard a player say he had to come off the pitch because he was too tired.

So I was surprised to hear Pep Guardiola say that Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and Manuel Akanji had asked to be 代用品,人d against Real Madrid the other night because they 'could not continue'. That's something I've never 証言,証人/目撃するd.

I can only 推定する that Guardiola was 保護するing De Bruyne and Haaland, that they were feeling something or carrying knocks, as that's the only explanation surely for taking off your most creative player and 最高の,を越す goalscorer when chasing the game in a 支持する/優勝者s League 4半期/4分の1-final.

De Bruyne is 32 now and has been 選ぶing up a few muscle 傷害s while Haaland has had one or two niggles, so I could understand, with City still having so much to play for, that they would be taken off for their own good in that 尊敬(する)・点 but tired, surely not.

I was never tired by the 需要・要求するs of a game when I played and yes, of course, it was different in those days, when for most of the season we were playing on pitches that 似ているd a 農業者's field and you were 許すd to be 積極的な in the 取り組む too.

The danger of Guardiola mentioning tiredness is the squad might start to believe they are

The danger of Guardiola について言及するing tiredness is the squad might start to believe they are?

In Joe Fagan's Liverpool 味方する of 1984, we won a league 肩書を与える using just 15 players, no-one was complaining of tiredness then, that squad also won a European Cup and the Milk Cup with four players clocking up 67 games while I managed 61. I 設立する that after three days 残り/休憩(する) between games I was ready to go again. The only time you would see a player coming off was for their own 保護. As a 経営者/支配人 it was either myself, or the physio or doctor 説 'Hey, get off, you're done.'

The danger is we heard it the other week from Guardiola and then Rodri that they were too tired and needed a 残り/休憩(する). It's not helpful when you keep talking about it as your brain starts to believe it and then you will feel tired. I 恐れる it may be more to do with sports scientists and the enormous 影響(力) they 発揮する on our big football clubs today. They just need to park those comments and move on.

To be fair to City they must be scratching their 長,率いるs how they didn't 勝利,勝つ anyway against Real Madrid.

It was やめる amazing how our best passing and 圧力(をかける)ing team made the biggest football club in the world look very ordinary. It says something when you see Carlo Ancelotti 訴える手段/行楽地ing to telling his goalkeeper to just 開始する,打ち上げる it because they couldn't play out from the 支援する and had no answer to City's 圧力(をかける)ing game. City had 67percent 所有/入手 and 33 発射s, so that 敗北・負かす will be a really hard one to take because they are not doing a lot wrong.

類似して with 兵器庫, they lose to Bayern Munich and novice 分析家s of our game are looking for 推論する/理由s that aren't there. That Bayern 味方する has not been 一貫した enough this season, the first time they 港/避難所't been 支配的な in the Bundesliga for 11 years, but the 星/主役にするs they have in that team mean that they can turn it on against anyone on any given night. 兵器庫 looked a bit 労働d and they 欠如(する)d creativity in the centre of midfield. They are over reliant on ツバメ Odegaard for the cuteness of pass, but they are still better than they were last season.

It's 早期に doors for this 兵器庫 team, they are not やめる good enough at this level yet. A 支持する/優勝者s League 4半期/4分の1 final is about 権利 for where they are. They lost to Aston 郊外住宅 last week and people are 説 the failings from last season are coming 支援する. That's nonsense. Their season isn't over. You can't say they 港/避難所't 改善するd on what they were last year. The 実験(する) for them is to を取り引きする the 失望 now and go again. It's the same for them, City and Liverpool - the 肩書を与える race is still on.

It's early doors for Arsenal, who are not quite good enough at Champions League level yet

Arsenal looked laboured against Bayern and appear overly reliant on Martin Odegaard

Chelsea pair were like U12 kids in 刑罰,罰則 列/漕ぐ/騒動

The sight of Chelsea's players squabbling over who should take a 刑罰,罰則 against Everton on Monday night beggared belief. It's pathetic to see professional players behaving in that manner.

Don't forget this is at a club where the 行う 法案 is £404million, second only to Manchester City who paid 特別手当s to their players for winning a Treble. This lot just look a group of overpaid, overrated, 普通の/平均(する) players and their petty 活動/戦闘s don't 静める that belief.

Before you go out, you 指定する who is on 解放する/自由な-kicks, corners and 刑罰,罰則s. Cole Palmer is Chelsea's 指定するd 刑罰,罰則 taker. It's for him to decide if he wants it and if he does then that's it. END OF. 'It's my ball, I'm f***ing taking it, now 支援する off.'

What 所有するs Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke to 行為/法令/行動する that way? It can only be that Palmer had already 得点する/非難する/20d a hat-trick so they're thinking 'let me have some of the glory'. If that's how they see the game then it's not good because what that tells you is it's all about me, me, me.

It's a very, very amateurish look that sort of petulance. Like something you would see in an U12s game. It says a lot about their characters which is worrying.

冷静な/正味の Cole 申し込む/申し出s the lot for Gareth

Cole Palmer is a class 行為/法令/行動する and it's 必然的な he goes to Germany with the England squad for the European 選手権s this summer.

He put in a fabulous 業績/成果 against Everton and he has an ability few 所有する. He is on the first rung of the ladder but he's setting himself a hell of a (判断の)基準 in his first season as a Chelsea player with 23 goals already. If he continues to replicate that then we could be looking at an England 広大な/多数の/重要な for the next ten years.

得点する/非難する/20ing goals is the hardest part of the game but Palmer is doing that with 親族 緩和する. He's 冷静な/正味の-長,率いるd, he's calculating, he 作品 hard, he's oozing ability. There's nothing to dislike about him. He left Manchester City because he 手配中の,お尋ね者 to play and you can see he has a 広大な/多数の/重要な appetite for the game and isn't fazed by anything. He will be very much a part of Gareth Southgate's thinking as he approaches the first game of the Euros.

FA Cup has been 減ずるd to a sideshow

I'm afraid the FA Cup has become a 死傷者 of the 首相 League's dominance.

What was once this country's 広大な/多数の/重要な showpiece game has now been 減ずるd to little more than a sideshow with the changes 先触れ(する)d this week. No replays and the final taking place before the end of the league season. It's a shame but it doesn't 事柄 to the big clubs anymore. It's all about the 首相 League and European football now.

Long gone are the days when we used to put aside the 週末 to watch the game with family or friends, glued to the telly as the ヘリコプターs would follow the team buses に向かって Wembley.?

The FA Cup has been 減ずるd to a sideshow 予定 to the dominance of the 首相 League

The FA Cup final was the grand finale to the season now it's just another game and the dominance of the 首相 League has made that happen.?

Look at the money you get per place in the 首相 League, even last gets you around £112m with equal 株 of broadcasting 取引,協定s and 長所 支払い(額)s. That's the brand 存在 促進するd across the four corners of the world now and, sadly, not the FA Cup.
