Ireland's Celtic Tigers: McShane was doing 100 圧力(をかける) ups a day at age seven, Meyler's 'as sharp as a spoon'... and brilliant Brady's 簡単に a phenomenal footballer
In this special international week, 特別手当 版 of The Footballers' Football Column, 船体 City's Iris

Paul McShane on David Meyler
He is as sharp as a spoon. When he (機の)カム into Sunderland, he was 19 and very enthusiastic. He has a good 態度 に向かって the game, he is a bit like a Gaelic player because gives you everything on a football pitch and he’s good to have in your 味方する because he gets stuck in and puts himself about.
He is a good footballer and a good 調印 for Steve Bruce and 船体.

He has done 井戸/弁護士席 to come 支援する from two serious 傷害s. But you should see his 向こうずねs, they are a joke, all 捨てるd to bits. He 取り組むs people with his 向こうずねs.
He (機の)カム in the other day with a 捨てる all the way 負かす/撃墜する his 脚 and a 捨てる all the way 負かす/撃墜する one 向こうずね, I don’t know how he managed it and he ended up 取り組むing Robbie and Stephen Quinn in the same 所有/入手 game. And they were on his team.
He took a 激しい touch and the ball went に向かって Robbie and Quinny was coming in behind him.
Robbie held his 手渡す out, to say he’s got it covered, but Dave just kept going and wiped them both out. Three of them up in the 空気/公表する. And his excuse was that he had tripped over the 反対/詐欺, as if it was bolted into the ground.
David Meyler on Robbie Brady
The first thing you no tice about Robbie is (McShane interrupts: 'The big fat 長,率いる on him’).
He’s a bubbly character, a 広大な/多数の/重要な lad, always laughing and making everyone else laugh which is brilliant to have the changing room.
I don’t have to say anything to anyone who has seen him play about the 量 of talent he has.
With him on the 権利 for 船体, and Quinny on the left, it is a joke. I have the 経営者/支配人 叫び声をあげるing at me to get into the box and I have got no chance. The only bad thing, I have to say, is he does these little shimmies which get him nowhere.
He is 広大な/多数の/重要な to have in the squad, because he is never 負かす/撃墜する, never (警官の)巡回区域,受持ち区域s himself up, always laughing and 元気づける people up when they are 負かす/撃墜する and he is a phenomenal footballer.
Ireland fans and 船体 fans have a lot to look 今後 to over the next few years.
We played Forest away Robbie got the ball and had to (疑いを)晴らす it and Billy Sharp (機の)カム out of the corner of his 注目する,もくろむ, his blind 位置/汚点/見つけ出す and he got a touch, (機の)カム from behind, nicked the ball and Robbie fouled him, 刑罰,罰則.
They 得点する/非難する/20 and we had just gone one-nil up. Robbie’s 手渡すs go on his 長,率いる. Paul is 叫び声をあげるing: 'You’re too eager Robbie, you’re too eager.’
I just heard Robbie say: 'What are you on about, you 麻薬?’

Robbie Brady on Paul McShane
The Wise Man. Anything could be said here. Too eager!
He has been around for so long. I remember he played in the same leagues as my older brother, and everyone used to talk about how strong this kid McShane was. They couldn’t believe he had such phenomenal strength.
I think he was doing 100 圧力(をかける)-ups a day at the age of seven. He said himself he didn’t realise how 積極的な he was until he was 18.
Joking aside, I have known of him for years, and even at the Manchester 部隊d 学院 they talked about how tuned in he was to his game. I don’t think he realises himself what he brings to a team on the pitch or to a dressing room.
Time for a change: 船体 経営者/支配人 Steve Bruce takes Paul McShane off
Strong start: Robbie Brady says Paul McShane used to do 100 圧力(をかける) ups when he was seven
I have never met anyone that wants to play as much as him. Everyone likes football but he adores it.
And he helps not only on the pitch but off it 同様に and he has helped me grow up.
本気で, yes. He has guided me 井戸/弁護士席. I am not 説 I was a 災害 but he has been a 広大な/多数の/重要な help.
And we can talk about anything, utter rubbish, nothing to do with football. We have had so many pointless conversations talking for hours.
He’s a 広大な/多数の/重要な laugh. I have never met anyone so funny in my life and my family agree. They have all met him now and they find him hilarious and they know how much of a good bloke he is and what a 広大な/多数の/重要な family he comes from too.
He would be good for any squad and I am glad to have him here.
He says he wants to be a 経営者/支配人 one day, to give it a 攻撃する, and I can see that. I don’t know if I would be his assistant but I would like to be on the staff at least.
