Suarez reminds us of Maradona with recreation of iconic picture against Paraguay in World Cup qualifier

Luis Suarez recreated an iconic image from football lore during Uruguay's World Cup qualifier with Paraguay.

The Liverpool striker 選ぶd up the ball and, surrounded by four 対立 defenders, drove at the heart of the Paraguay defence.

The scene, 逮捕(する)d by AFP/Getty Images photographer Daniel Caselli, was reminiscent of the image of another 広大な/多数の/重要な dribbler, Diego Maradona.

That picture, taken at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, showed Maradona surrounded by six ベルギーs and has gone on to become one of the most recognised images from football.
