'Beloved' Casillas awarded メダル by city of Madrid... but Jose still won't 選ぶ him

Iker Casillas may not be liked by his 経営者／支配人 Jose Mourinho but the city of Madrid certainly recognises his 出資／貢献.

The Real Madrid goalkeeper has been awarded 'The Gold メダル of the City of Madrid'.

This is a 承認 of 'his personal and professional 出資／貢献 as one of the 真っ先の 外交官／大使s of the city of Madrid and Sport'.

Casillas said: 'It is an immensely joyful moment. Anyone who receives this prize knows it is for something good one has done both 本人自身で and collectively.'

大統領 of the community of Madrid, Ignacio Gonz?lez, referred to Iker Casillas as: 'A sportsman who 具体的に表現するs the values of sport like no one else.

'He is one of the most 全世界の／万国共通の and beloved of all madrile?os.

But Mourinho has not played the Spain international - one of only three goalkeeper captains to 勝利，勝つ the World Cup, along with Italians Gianpiero Combi and Dino Zoff - since January 20.??

Instead, Mourinho has been selecting Diego Lopez in his stead.
