Southampton's Jay Rodriguez 直面するs a 'very difficult' mental and physical challenge after 傷害 robbed him of a place at the World Cup, によれば former England midfielder Darren Anderton.

'He will be heartbroken, of course,' he said. 'You do want to play for your club but everyone wants to play for their country and go to a World Cup.

'He knew it was a bad one and I'm sure straight away that was in his mind that he is out of the World Cup.'
