Alan Pardew 直面するing fans' fury after six 敗北・負かすs in a 列/漕ぐ/騒動 and マイク Ashley won't 投資する in the team... these are dark days for Newcastle (and it'll get worse if four of their best players go in the summer)

Beleaguered Newcastle 部隊d 経営者/支配人 Alan Pardew likes to tell people: 'Anyone who knows me knows I stand up for myself'.

That’s good. Because unless he can 説得する owner マイク Ashley to change a habit of a lifetime and 投資する 適切に in the Newcastle 部隊d team, they are going to slide off the 首相 League cliff-直面する.

A 掲示 from a Toon fan after their 最新の 敗北・負かす 法令d that NUFC now stands for No ambition, Useless 策略, 財政上の competence and Contempt for the fans.

He’d just watched the team 降伏する 3-0 at 兵器庫, their sixth 敗北・負かす in a 列/漕ぐ/騒動 and 14th in 19. On 2014 form, Newcastle would 嘘(をつく) 19th in the 首相 League (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, behind Fulham, Aston 郊外住宅 and even Norwich City (Cardiff are 底(に届く)).

Some 支持者s are 熟視する/熟考するing walking out in 抗議する an hour into their final home game of the season against Cardiff on Saturday.

With Yohan Cabaye sold in January and Mathieu Debuchy, Loic Remy, Tim Krul, Fabricio Coloccini, Papiss Cisse and 地元の hero Shola Ameobi 始める,決める to leave this summer, things 脅す to get worse before they get better at St James' Park.

Former chairman Freddie Shepherd, in 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金 when the team twice qualified for the 支持する/優勝者s League under Sir Bobby Robson, thinks Ashley will realise he has to start spending ? out of necessity.

‘This run has been upsetting for every 支持者,’ says Shepherd. ‘It’s not nice to see your team beaten six times in a 列/漕ぐ/騒動.

‘I think マイク Ashley will buy players this summer, because he has to. He is not a stupid 実業家 and this is the football 商売/仕事, you need 勢い and reinvestment at times. I think he will definitely spend, not that he wants to, but because he has to.

‘I have been in that position ? it is a very difficult 職業. These are dark days for Alan (Pardew) but I've got sympathy with the players he has been 手渡すd. I think he will be given money this time.

'Yes, the team have been unlucky with 傷害s but they’ve also relied too much on the foreign legion. Perhaps we should have had a better mix, not as many French players.

‘I know Newcastle is a difficult club to run, nobody owns it really, it is an 会・原則. But it just seems to have lost a bit of stardust that needs bringing 支援する.'

Grim reading: The Premier League table since Christmas

Grim reading: The 首相 League (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する since Christmas

Newcastle 部隊d fans have mocked Pardew for playing excuse-bingo after every 敗北・負かす.

In reality, the 非難する for Newcastle’s wretched second half of the season is everywhere.

Ashley sold the team’s best player Cabaye to Paris St Germain for a tidy 利益(をあげる) without 取って代わるing him.

When the remaining players needed their 経営者/支配人 to lead by example, Pardew lost the 陰謀(を企てる) by headbutting 対立 player David Meyler at 船体 City and was banned for seven matches, returning only on Monday night.

Neither can the players be 免除された from 責任/義務 and that is maybe the most worrying thing. Several don’t 推定する/予想する to be at the club next season and are playing like it.

星/主役にする striker Remy knows his 貸付金 (一定の)期間 from QPR is nearly over. Goalkeeper Krul and defender Debuchy are sellable 資産s that have other suitors and Coloccini has long since made it (疑いを)晴らす his heart belongs in Argentina rather than Tyneside.?

Cisse has looked a 影をつくる/尾行する of himself since an 早期に-season 列/漕ぐ/騒動 about wearing the Wonga brand on his 道具 while Ameobi, the last link to the glory Robson 時代, is out of 契約 in the summer and ありそうもない to get a new 取引,協定. The skilful Hatem Ben Arfa has hardly played.

No way back? Loic Remy seems certain to move on to pastures new this summer after his loan move

It’s a heady mix and unless there is a 転換, it’s going to get way worse before it gets any better.

‘I think they will lose some players, that is a 限定された. You don’t have to be that clever to realise who wants to be away. Some players will go, no 疑問 about that,’ said Shepherd.

‘They are not helping Pardew.? I have every sympathy for him, the players he has been 手渡すd. The whole thing boiled up for him at 船体 and I’d stick by him. Get to the end of the season and change things around.’

Against such a 背景, Pardew talked 熱望して? after Monday night’s dismal 3-0 敗北・負かす at 兵器庫 about '新規採用' this summer.

One can only hope he is a better 交渉者 than he has been with Ashley in the past.

Since January 2010, Ashley has managed to make an 概算の £20million 利益(をあげる) on 移転s. Andy Carroll went to Liverpool for £35million, Cabaye to PSG earlier this year for £20million. In contrast, the last 量 forked out for one player in the same period is £6.7million for French defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

Flop: Pardew needs to recruit better players than loanee striker Luuk de Jong

So far, Pardew has 保持するd the 約束 of Ashley ? just about. The Newcastle owner is probably 感謝する that however much he’s under-投資するd in the team, Pardew has never pu blicly turned against him.

But the tipping point must be this summer. The “Pardew out” 旗,新聞一面トップの大見出し/大々的に報道するs will grow unless he starts to 勝利,勝つ. To 勝利,勝つ, he needs better players.

He wants Demba Ba 支援する from Chelsea, John Obi Mikel to shore up the defence. Better players than Luuk De Jong, the only 後継の in January on a 貸付金 from Borussia Munchengladbach who has 証明するd to be 完全に hopeless and hasn’t 得点する/非難する/20d in 11? games.

Amazingly, Newcastle’s 普通の/平均(する) home gate remains above 50,000 this season ? one of only three clubs able to 誇る that と一緒に Manchester 部隊d and 兵器庫.

The fans' 会議s are 審議ing whether a 抗議する in the middle of next 週末's game is a good way to get their point across or disloyal to the players on the pitch.?

At least there is one silver lining if Pardew stays...he won’t have to go through Director of Football Joe Kinnear to 調印する anyone.
