共和国 of Ireland 1-1 Scotland REPORT: Follow all the 活動／戦闘 from the Euro 2016 qualifying 衝突／不一致 at the Aviva Stadium

That was pretty breathless, wasn't it? Not much 質 from either 味方する, but so much passion and かかわり合い on 陳列する，発揮する. 

Germany and Northern Ireland are の中で the teams kicking off in just over half an hour as this Saturday of international football rolls on, but I'm going to take a break.

So, where does that result leave both 味方するs? 

井戸／弁護士席, Scotland are, for now at least, up to second place in Group D - but I think we can assume that Germany will squeak past Gibraltar later this evening.

Ireland, with Germany and Poland still to play, have to （不足などを）補う two points on Scotland in the final four games to have a chance of reaching フラン.

失望 for Ireland, but a very, very big point for Scotland. Hard to say they didn't deserve it. Ireland were the more 肯定的な 味方する, but they didn't create much against a really dogged Scottish defence.

You can almost feel how much Robbie Keane wants this - he is everywhere. It's James McClean's introduction that has made more of an 衝撃 tactically, but the 入り口 of their 主要な man seems to have 解除するd Ireland mentally. 

Still, the number of （疑いを）晴らす-削減（する） chances has been 限られた／立憲的な, and Scotland will be pleased with that. 

Here comes the final change, as Shane Long 取って代わるs the hard-working Daryl Murphy, who has been excellent for me, but has also 行方不明になるd Ireland's best chance so far...

It's straight at Marshall, and sticks in his midriff rather like those old Subbuteo keepers used to save the ball with a magnet! Powerful stuff, in more ways than one. 

James McClean's arrival as sub was noisily 迎える／歓迎するd by Ireland fans. But the ovation of Robbie Keane as he just enters the field was another level of 容積／容量 altogether.
After the week he's had, Keane can't surely save Ireland again, can he? 

Aside from the goal, this is the loudest the Aviva has been today, as Robbie Keane 取って代わるs Wes Hoolahan. What a story it would be if Keane, after such a terrible week, were to 得点する／非難する／２０ the 勝利者. 

I really can't 明言する／公表する just how much energy and enthusiasm Daryl Murphy has shown. He 勝利，勝つs a corner by bursting 負かす／撃墜する the left and putting in a cross, then a moment later throws himself at a difficult header, which goes over. 

He's about to get a new partner up there...

McClean's introduction has given Ireland a bit more impetus. He earns a corner, and on comes the 圧力. Charlie Mulgrew 長，率いるs a Brady cross away for another, but 結局 Marshall can gather and Scotland （疑いを）晴らす.

Better, though from Ireland. Is the 勢い changing? Our Scottish 長，指導者 sports writer thinks so...

Ireland's turn to introduce a 飛行機で行くing winger to try and change the game. Whelan, a walking red card today, is 取って代わるd, with James McClean coming on.

What a save, Shay Given. Anya, yet again, makes 進歩 負かす／撃墜する the 権利, his cross deflects off Seamus Coleman and looked like it was 宙返り飛行ing over the keeper, but he scoops it away. Unorthodox, but 効果的な.

どこかよそで in this group, Poland have gone ahead, so they are now （疑いを）晴らす at the 最高の，を越す of the group with Germany to play later.

In Armenia, Cristiano Ronaldo has a hattrick as Portugal have come from behind to lead 3-1. 

Brilliant again from Anya. He turns a man on the half-way line, plays it inside for Steven Naismith and 始める，決めるs off at a sprint to keep the over-攻撃する，衝突する return in play and 勝利，勝つ a corner. 

It's Ireland who look the more likely to 得点する／非難する／２０ from that 始める，決める piece though, as they 勝利，勝つ the ball and break with six men, but a superb challenge stops the 反対する. Wes Hoolahan 手配中の，お尋ね者 a 解放する／自由な kick, but it was very clean from Morrison. 

Remember, this would be a very good result for Scotland, keeping them two points （疑いを）晴らす of their hosts with four games to play. 

A long way to go yet, both today and in the group, but a draw certainly 控訴s the 訪問者s. 

Daryl Murphy continues to get into good positions, but he can't やめる find the finishing touch. The Ipswich 今後 bursts between two Scottish defenders, but loses his balance and his 発射 has no 力／強力にする.

Ikechi Anya's introduction - though perhaps 45 minutes too late - was a masterstroke

So much credit to Gordon Strachan - he made the change, and Ikechi Anya has been 伴う／関わるd in everything so far in this half. 

Again, though, it's Shaun Maloney who makes it happen for Scotland. 

More proper football in the first couple of minutes of the second half than we had in the first. 広大な／多数の／重要な build-up play en 大勝する to Maloney's deflected equaliser, and then Murphy unlucky not to put Ireland 2-1 ahead

It's all happening here. David Marshall with a brilliant stop to 否定する Daryl Murphy, who 発射 hard and low after 存在 played in 負かす／撃墜する the left 手渡す channel. 

Jonathan Walters follows up - as ever - but his driven cross-発射 is deflected behind.

What an 衝撃! Make a change at the break, and it brings a goal. Shaun Maloney 交流s passes with Anya and curls the ball に向かって goal. 

It takes a big deflection off John O'Shea and nestles in the corner. What a start to the second half!

A change at the break, Ikechi Anya comes on for Matt Ritchie. Will that change anything? 

ツバメ O'Neill's 決定／判定勝ち（する） to go with Daryl Murphy, raised a few eyebrows, but it has really paid off so far. 

The striker has been 伴う／関わるd inside the box, just where you want him to be. Contrast that to Steven Fletcher at the other end, who has been everywhere but.

The half time whistle goes. Not the best 質 football match you'll ever see, but plenty of heart and soul went into that 45 minutes.

Those Robbie Brady corners are really 原因（となる）ing problems. The 最新の one bounces six yards out and spins out for a goalkick, but only after 誘発するing 完全にする panic in the Scottish defence. Gordon Strachan will be desperate for half time to sort it out.

Neither Maloney nor Hoolahan, my two creative players to watch, have been able to get on the ball nearly enough today. 

We have an unmelodramatic Italian in the house. 審判（をする） Nicola Rizzoli is the coolest 顧客 on the pitch, even when both 始める，決めるs of players surrounded him に引き続いて a 汚い challenge by James McCarthy on Russell ツバメ.

McCarthy caught ツバメ on the nose with the 最高の，を越す of his 肘 and has become the second player in the 調書をとる／予約する.  

While neither 味方する will be 全く happy with this first 33 minutes, they'll be glad to know that Poland are still 存在 held by Georgia. If the Georgians could 持つ／拘留する on for a point, that would be 本気で good news for these two. 

James McCarthy goes into the 調書をとる／予約する for a 汚い looking 衝突／不一致 with Russell ツバメ. The midfielder jumps for a header 主要な with his 肘.

I wouldn't 示唆する it was 審議する／熟考する, but ツバメ needs some 治療. Players from both 味方する （人が）群がる the 審判（をする）, but, to his credit, the 公式の／役人 stays 静める. Just a yellow. 

Jonathan Walters is really 原因（となる）ing some trouble 負かす／撃墜する the 権利 手渡す 味方する. Twice in a 事柄 of moments he gets a cross away - the first is too 深い and （疑いを）晴らすd (経由で a 完全に absurd handball 控訴，上告), the second 勝利，勝つs Ireland a corner. He's certainly a handful.

Unfortunately for both 味方するs, there isn't much end 製品 to go with all the very 約束ing hustle and bustle. 

Everton's Seamus Coleman likes to attack from 権利-支援する and he has just had an earful from his 船長／主将 John O'Shea, 推定では for not 裁判官ing when is the 訂正する time to gallop 今後.

No 囚人s are 存在 taken out there. Robbie Brady, after winning a 取り組む, leaps for a header, and more or いっそう少なく flattens Matt Ritchie.

Whelan, who is having a strange game so far, plays a pretty terrible pass straight out of play to end that （一定の）期間 of 圧力. 

With only 20 minutes played, you don't want your combative midfielder walking a tight-rope. But Glenn Whelan puts in a silly 取り組む on Steven Fletcher, and there's no 選択 but to 調書をとる／予約する him. Silly boy. 

The resulting 解放する／自由な kick, from a dangerous area, is too long, and drifts out for a goal kick.

A little bit of upset around the Aviva (and from the two Irishmen in Mail HQ!) as Matt Richie コースを変えるs a dangerous cross into the 手渡すs of his own keeper.

No 意図 there, he had no idea where he was kicking it, so a 訂正する call - not a 支援する pass. 

Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the start, it has all 緩和するd off a bit here. Both 味方するs look happy to pass the ball around at the 支援する for a bit. 

味方する to 味方する, rather than too many vertical passes at the moment. 結局 Glenn Whelan 粉砕するs a 発射 over from 30 yards. Miles over. 

Ireland （機の）カム 飛行機で行くing out the 罠（にかける）s but a 広大な／多数の／重要な dig by Steven Fletcher tipped over by Shay Given reminded the home fans that Gordon Strachan's 味方する have 質 in their 階級s. This match 約束s to be as の近くに as most people 予報するd.

A couple of meaty Irish challenges coming in as Scotland put together their first bit of meaningful 所有／入手. 

The 訪問者s moved the ball nicely, and twice the 審判（をする） had to play advantage に引き続いて some pretty hefty 取り組むs. 

In the end Steven Naismith, bursting into the box, just can't get to the ball. 約束ing 調印するs though. 

A first chance for Shaun Maloney to get on the ball in a dangerous position, and it produces the first chance. 

The midfielder 料金d Steven Fletcher, who needs no 招待 to shoot. Shay Given tips the 発射, which was probably going over anyway, behind for a corner.

The former Manchester 部隊d midfielder, with socks pulled up all the way, has been glowering around the pitch in that way only he can, taking the warm-up.

共和国 of Ireland legend 示す Lawrenson has just been interviewed on the big 審査する and been his usual sardonic self.

Lawrenson is delighted Norwich's Wes Hoolahan is getting a rare start. 'He is the best passer we've got and can see a pass,' he said.

Honestly, is there anything worse than this in modern football? I'd put it marginally ahead of 飛び込み and Marouane Chamakh's hair. Other suggestions always welcome.

For Scotland, the 圧力 is a little いっそう少なく 厳しい. A 勝利，勝つ today would open up that lovely gap over their 対抗者s, but a 敗北・負かす would only see them a point behind the 共和国, with four games to play. 

A first major tournament since 1998 would be 堅固に on the horizon if they could snatch three points here...

In many ways this game is more important for the hosts than Scotland. 

Having been at the last Euros in 2012, they are the closest of the teams from these islands to 行方不明の out this time around. むちの跡s more or いっそう少なく 調書をとる／予約するd their place in フラン last night, England are all but there, while even Northern Ireland are in a 命令（する）ing position.

But I've been chatting to Pat Nevin, a more-than-useful wide player for Scotland in his day, and he thinks Strachan believes Anya may be better utlised to 存在 an 衝撃 player in the last 20 minutes when Ireland are tiring.
