Germany 経営者／支配人 'alarmed' by Ballack omission

Germany coach Joachim Loew said on Tuesday he was surprised Chelsea had omitted Michael Ballack from their 支持する／優勝者s League group 行う／開催する／段階 squad because he

推定する／予想するd his 負傷させるd captain to be 支援する in October.

"It's やめる a surprise that he won't be playing in the 支持する／優勝者s League this year," Loew said in Cologne.

"We have to talk with each other on the telephone first because I don't know any more 詳細（に述べる）s yet myself," he 追加するd.

On Monday, Loew said he 推定する／予想するd Ballack to return from an ankle 傷害, which 要求するd 外科, for next month's Euro 2008 qualifiers against Ireland and Czech 共和国.

Ballack has not played for Chelsea since April because of

the 傷害 and on Monday was left out of their squad for the

支持する／優勝者s League group 行う／開催する／段階s. The 30-year-old will not be fit

in time for the start of the 競争 in two weeks.

Chelsea have been drawn with Spain's Valencia, Schalke 04 of

Germany and Norwegians Rosenborg Trondheim in Group B.

However, if Ballack does 回復する fitness over the next four

months he would be 適格の for the latter 行う／開催する／段階s of the

競争 should Chelsea qualify.

Germany team 経営者／支配人 Oliver Bierhoff said he was alarmed and

had learned of Chelsea's move in the newspapers on Tuesday.

Bierhoff said Ballack had told him the last time they met on

be able to return to training with his team.
