Many drinks have been sipped from the famous Claret Jug over the years but was this the first time the tipple of choice was a Jagermeister cocktail?

One thing that’s become really noticeable over the last 10 years is how the atmosphere is so much better when The Open is played in England than Scotland.

The last four Opens, held at Carnoustie (2007), Turnberry (2009), St Andrews (2010) and Muirfield (2013), have all been flat in comparison to Birkdale (2008), 王室の St George’s (2011), Lytham (2012) and now, Hoylake.

So how refreshing to see him walk off the 18th green bathed in smiles instead of criticising cruel 運命／宿命 for throwing Rory McIlroy at him, just after he had got rid of Tiger 支持を得ようと努めるd.

‘I try to look at the 肯定的なs and there’s a lot more of them here than 消極的なs,’ he said. Yes, he really did say that, and even 追加するd a light-hearted dig at the old Sergio: ‘It looks like I’m finally growing up.’
