Portugal 0-0 USA - Women's World Cup RESULT: USWNT just make it through to the last-16 after another poor 業績／成果 that saw their 対抗者s almost 得点する／非難する／２０ a winning goal in 追加するd time

USA held on by a thread to keep their Women's World Cup 肩書を与える defence alive on Tuesday, つまずくing into the ノックアウト 行う／開催する／段階s with a 0-0 draw against debutants Portugal at Eden Park.

The four-times 支持する／優勝者s were playing with everything on the line but 拒絶するd several chances to find the 逮捕する and the 新規加入 of 退役軍人 Megan Rapinoe in the second half did little to turn things around against a physical Portugal defence.

Saved by the 地位，任命する. The USA have qualified for the ノックアウト 行う／開催する／段階s as 走者s-up of Group E but they'll be thanking their lucky 星／主役にするs that Capeta could only strike the woodwork and not the 支援する of the 逮捕する.

The 統治するing 支持する／優勝者s 削減（する） nervous 人物／姿／数字s out there and Portugal deserved a better result but it was their finishing that let them 負かす／撃墜する.

90+2min: USA were INCHES from 存在 捨てるd out the 競争. Portugal break through as Capeta bursts in behind and 攻撃する，衝突するs the ball so cleanly but it 粉砕するs off the base of the upright. That could've been it.

88min: Catarina Amado becomes the next player to go into the 調書をとる／予約する for a niggly foul. 緊張した finish in these final few minutes.

86min: There's been a 衝突／不一致 inside the box and Portugal's goalkeeper is 負かす／撃墜する. Thankfully Pereira is up on her feet after 存在 checked over by the 医療の team.

It's seventh heaven for the Dutch as they 強くたたく yet another past Vietnam. Different class today.

84min: Morgan runs in behind again and is 設立する with a 広範囲にわたる through ball. She checks 支援する her run before getting the ball の上に her 権利 foot inside the box but its a rather tame 発射 負かす／撃墜する to the keeper's left.

76min: Fox tries to make something happen for the US after 選ぶing up the ball on the 権利 touchline and darting inside. There's a 欠如（する） of movement ahead of her and the ball is turned over. 

73min: More silky passing from Portugal but it's 削減（する） out by a breathless Morgan who is doing a brilliant 職業 圧力（をかける）ing from the 前線. Her hard work is then undone when the ball is lumped aimlessly 支援する to Portugal.

71min: Morgan manages to get to the ball and nick it in 前線 of Diana Gomes, who makes a late 肺. It's a 調書をとる／予約するing and will mean she will 行方不明になる the last-16 if Portugal manage to qualify for the ノックアウトs.

68min: Play is 支援する 進行中で after a 非常に長い stop in play 予定 to an 傷害. Portugal are straight on the attack and 脅す to get in behind but its 消すd out. Portugal still enjoying a lot of the ball and look comfortable.

66min: There was a substitution a few minutes ago - Kika Nazareth comes off which sees Andreia Jacinto 取って代わる her in the centre of midfield.

63min: Rapinoe is already making an 衝撃. The USA icon 選ぶs up the ball 40 yards out from goal and plays a disguised pass 負かす／撃墜する the line to Morgan. There's almost a little too much on the pass but Morgan gets a corner from it. 

60min: Here she comes! Rapinoe enters the field to a brilliant 歓迎会 from the （人が）群がる and it's Sophia Smith to make way. 

So the Netherlands have comfortably won the group and it's thanks to this goal difference. USA can only finish as 走者s-up now.

There was an annoying alarm （犯罪の）一味ing around Eden Park while play continued and it was 運動ing me nuts. But it turns out it was a 機能不全ing sprinkler that sounded a 解雇する／砲火／射撃 alarm. Thankfully, it's been deactivated.

56min: It's floated into the box and Morgan is the obvious 的 once again but it's 長，率いるd over the 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業. The 発射 may have been the better 選択 there.

54min: Risky foul on the 辛勝する／優位 of the box from Carole Costa not only earns her a 調書をとる／予約するing, but a very dangerous position for the USA to shoot from.

53min: That's more like it! Morgan is sent in behind once again but this time she gets to the ball and then manages to run around the on-急ぐing keeper. With the angle tight, she looks to tuck the ball in but there's a defender on the line to （疑いを）晴らす it out for a corner.

52min: Sophia Smith becomes the second player to go into the 審判（をする）'s 調書をとる／予約する for a foul. 

50min: It's Portugal's turn to lump a 解放する／自由な-kick into the box and it's （疑いを）晴らすd for a throw. USA 回復する 所有／入手 quickly and Smith tries to thread a ball through to Morgan. However, there's not enough on the pass and it's 迎撃するd.

48min: A 解放する／自由な-kick is sent into Portugal's box but the ball is sent 支援する out to Lavelle, who creates an angle at the 最高の，を越す of the area and leathers a 発射 at goal. However, there's too much 力／強力にする on it and it's high over the 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業.

46min: Portugal have started the second half as they finished the first - with a 有望な and attacking 態度. They try to thread the ball through to Silva but Girma manages to get her foot to the ball before 宙返り／暴落するing to the ground.

One goal and a clean sheet from the Portuguese in the second half will knock the USA out. It's a mammoth 仕事 but stranger things have happened.
