It was a little after 3:30pm by the time Klete Keller stepped on to the subway in Washington DC. The sun had not yet 始める，決める but already 不明瞭 enveloped the nation’s 資本／首都.

He was soon approached by a young boy. The child had spotted Keller’s jacket, which carried all the bells and whistles of the USA Olympic team.?

He led cries of ‘F*** Nancy Pelosi’ and ‘F*** Chuck Schumer’, he resisted officers trying to 保護する the nation’s 国会議員s. He sung the same 国家の 国家 that had rung out in Athens and Beijing. He filmed his fellow 暴徒s. He asked one for a selfie. He occasionally covered his 直面する with sunglasses, a Donald Trump beanie, and a bandana.

Keller would 結局 leave around 3.30pm and 長，率いる for the subway. But Keller had failed to mask his 身元 and he failed to outrun the consequences of his 50-minute visit to 議会. An 逮捕（する） 令状 was 問題／発行するd; he 手渡すd himself in a week later.

‘Beyond juvenile and foolhardy,’ is how 弁護 lawyers branded Keller’s 活動／戦闘s as they asked the 法廷，裁判所s to keep him out of 刑務所，拘置所. The 政府, however, want him 刑務所，拘置所d for 10 months.

‘Keller once wore the American 旗 as an Olympian. On January 6, 2021, he threw that 旗 in a trash can,’ 公式の／役人s argue. ‘What Klete Keller and others did on January 6 was unconscionable. It will forever be a stain on this country’s narrative.’
