England's one-day line-up 苦しむd another 劇の 低迷 today after left-arm seamer James Franklin (人命などを)奪う,主張するd a five-wicket 運ぶ/漁獲高 for New Zealand in the day-night NatWest Series match at the Riverside.

Having been 解任するd for a lowly 147 at Trent 橋(渡しをする) just two days ago at Trent 橋(渡しをする) by West Indies - the lowest total 記録,記録的な/記録するd by a 味方する batting first in a one-day international at that 発生地 - England had hoped for a vastly 改善するd 業績/成果.

But instead they 配達するd an 平等に embarrassing 陳列する,発揮する and after 30 overs of their innings they had slipped to 100 for nine having just (太陽,月の)食/失墜d their lowest ever one-day total of 86 記録,記録的な/記録するd against Australia at Old Trafford three years ago.

Just like at Nottingham, when they slipped to two for two and never 回復するd, England once again lost both openers 早期に and were unable to 対処する with the 脅し 提起する/ポーズをとるd by Franklin, who became only the fourth New Zealander in history to (人命などを)奪う,主張する five wickets in a one-day international after finishing with five for 42.

Trescothick 落ちる

England's demise began with the loss of Marcus Trescothick, who had started brightly by pulling Franklin for two 早期に 境界s when he dropped short.

But the Somerset left-hander became a little too adventurous and was bowled by all-rounder Jacob Oram 試みる/企てるing an ugly slog across the line.

As if the loss of their number one batsman was not enough of a 後退, Franklin began his one-man 破壊 of England's batting order by (人命などを)奪う,主張するing the 著名な scalp of captain Michael Vaughan, whose off-stump was knocked 支援する with a 配達/演説/出産 which nipped 支援する into him.

Once again Geraint Jones and Andrew Strauss were 手渡すd the 責任/義務 of 再構築するing the innings, which they did superbly at Nottingham with an 82-run stand which put England 支援する on course for a respectable total until their later 崩壊(する).

This time the 決定/判定勝ち(する) to put Jones in at number three did not look やめる so clever when he chopped Oram の上に his stumps 試みる/企てるing to 削減(する) a fullish-length 配達/演説/出産 three overs later.

地元の hero Paul Collingwood then gave Franklin his second wicket by 辛勝する/優位ing behind 試みる/企てるing to 運動 a wide 配達/演説/出産.

England still had hope while Middlesex batsman Andrew Strauss was at the crease.

But the man who has already shown his composure at international level with three 連続する half-centuries also showed his inexperience today by 試みる/企てるing to hook Franklin - only to 選ぶ out long 脚.

Ian Blackwell 死なせる/死ぬd four overs later when he was given 脚 before in his crease and the sell-out 14,000 (人が)群がる's 失望/欲求不満 at England's lame 陳列する,発揮する began to show when Ashley Giles was jeered 支援する to the pavilion after he 辛勝する/優位d the next ball behind.

Darren Gough only marginally escaped 存在 the hat-trick 犠牲者 when a loud 控訴,上告 for 脚 before was 否定するd by umpire Jeremy Lloyds, but it was a 一時的な (死)刑の執行猶予(をする) before he 辛勝する/優位d Chris Cairns to slip.

Anthony McGrath's long 53-minute 徹夜 at the crease was 停止(させる)d two overs later when he also 辛勝する/優位d Oram behind.

But last-wicket pair Steve Harmison and James Anderson 供給するd belated 抵抗 to at least take England past their previous lowest total and into three 人物/姿/数字s.
