From the moment he burst on to the scene for Scotland at Wembley in the last European 選手権s, it was (疑いを)晴らす that Billy Gilmour would be a 悪賢い and stylish footballer.

‘I remember getting the phone call about Burberry (when he was a young player at Chelsea) and すぐに thinking it was a 勝利,勝つd-up,’ said the Brighton midfielder.
‘It was something I really liked ― 最高の,を越す people in fashion styling you, getting make-up done. I’m from the west coast of Scotland ― it wasn’t what I was used to.
‘It took my mind off football and, weirdly, I 設立する it relaxing ― like doing this for Men’s Health. It’s something 完全に different.’
Three years ago, Gilmour was thrust into the limelight almost in the blink of an 注目する,もくろむ. His 業績/成果 at Wembley was testament to a 成熟 that was beyond his tender years.

‘When you 勝利,勝つ, there is no better feeling ― celebrating, 存在 happy, it means a lot. I definitely love winning more than I hate losing.
‘Losing is part of life; it just makes the happy moments more special. I’m loving my football, and I’m loving my life at the moment.’
Now settled and 設立するd at Brighton, Gilmour is in a far better place than when he 耐えるd a troubled 貸付金 (一定の)期間 at Norwich City in the season that followed the last Euros in 2021.

‘I went on 貸付金 to Norwich, which I thought would be good for me,’ he 追加するd. ‘It turned out to be a fight, a 戦う/戦い. I learned a lot. At the time, I didn’t enjoy it on the pitch.
‘It didn’t look like I was going 支援する to play at Chelsea ― when I was getting 選ぶd for Scotland, I wasn’t playing either ― so I was just a young kid and it was a low time for me.

‘Some nights I’d be sat there thinking: “This is crap”, but that’s where my family helped me. You can only learn from that.’
