When you've got a prosthetic 四肢, travel becomes わずかに trickier as these amputees 明らかにする／漏らす.

Speaking out on TikTok, the?prosthetic wearers explain some of their travel woes and tricks for a more comfortable vacation.

In one clip 23-year-old Canadian Paralympic 跡をつける 星／主役にする?Marissa Papaconstantinou, who was born without her 権利 foot, 明らかにする／漏らすs how she packed for a 小旅行する across Europe.?

She explains that she always keeps her 脚 on her and she has become 'good at playing Tetris' as arranging her 捕らえる、獲得する is やめる a puzzle, with a running blade, her everyday prosthetic and her 解除するing 脚 to fit into a tight space.

'Traveling light is definitely not an 選択 for me,' the 競技者 muses.

E xplaining this importance of this item, she says: 'This is the stuff that makes my [prosthetic] 脚 not 傷つける my 肌 as much.'

平等に as important to Jo while she is on-the-go is a shoe horn. She explains: 'It is amazingly difficult to get shoes on over a prosthetic foot いつかs and if I forget this, I'm kinda [out of luck].'

Jo's other travel 必須のs 含む duck tape, as 'we never know what's gonna happen,'?extra 脚 socks as 'these are what give my 脚 padding in-between my actual 肌 and my socket,' and 医薬s.

The social マスコミ 星／主役にする, who has more than 744,000 信奉者s on TikTok, says that the 'funniest thing about travelling as an amputee is that a lot of this stuff I can't just 選ぶ up at a pharmacy.'

For example, Jo 明らかにする／漏らすs that her 脚 lube is only 利用できる 'from prosthetists by 任命 only' and therefore, she has to 'think ahead さもなければ I'm 肉親，親類d of screwed.'?

Rachel Handler, who lost her 脚 in a car 事故 in 2012, made a TikTok 輪郭（を描く）ing her three travel 切り開く／タクシー／不正アクセスs as an amputee

明らかにする／漏らすing 類似の nightmares with TSA is Emily Fogle, who lost her 脚 to a rare form of bone 癌 and has had a prosthetic for six years

In a TikTok, Emily tells テレビ視聴者s: 'Those of you with two 脚s probably don't understand the horror of going through TSA at the airport with a prosthetic 脚'

She 知らせるs テレビ視聴者s that when she 飛行機で行くs, 'sitting on an airplane for hours can 原因（となる） a lot of 圧力' and the changes in airplane 圧力 'can 原因（となる） spikes in phantom 苦痛.'

This then leads to 'a lot of swelling from time to time and just 不快.'

While 論証するing some of her massaging techniques, she says: 'So I try to 刺激する the 神経 area to hopefully get [my upper 脚] to 静める 負かす／撃墜する a little bit.?

'If I have time, I might elevate it and just keep it off for a little while before the next flights happens and I've got to put [the prosthetic] 支援する on.?

'So I 追加する some padding, get the suction 権利 and get my 脚 reattached to を回避する to my next flight.'

にもかかわらず some 不快, Jo tells テレビ視聴者s that traveling and 飛行機で行くing as an amputee isn't so bad and 'it just takes a couple extra steps, a couple extra thoughts and いつかs Advil!'

Rachel Handler, who lost her 脚 in a car 事故 in 2012, made a TikTok 輪郭（を描く）ing her three travel 切り開く／タクシー／不正アクセスs as an amputee.?

Firstly, she says she always takes crutches when she travels.??

This is because at night, she takes off her prosthetic and 'I don't want to have to hop to the bathroom. I'm too old for that!'

Seco ndly, she always requests hotel bathrooms with a 議長，司会を務める in the にわか雨 because 'I?don't want to stand up on one 脚 and really 傷つける myself when I'm shampooing... also handheld にわか雨 長，率いるs are really, really useful!'

Thirdly, Rachel usually packs an extra foot or 脚 with her whenever she travels in 事例／患者 one goes 行方不明の. These, she says, usually get 'flagged by TSA,' and she has to explain what the items are.

As an 熱心な 旅行者, she says she has had some '利益／興味ing run ins with TSA' over the years.

In a TikTok, she tells テレビ視聴者s: 'Those of you with two 脚s probably don't understand the horror of going through TSA at the airport with a prosthetic 脚.'?

She says 80 per cent of the time TSA is 罰金, explaining they pat her 負かす／撃墜する, swab her 手渡すs and her prosthetic foot, and then she's 'good to go.'

But she has had a couple of not so pleasant experiences. One of her worst TSA 遭遇（する）s happened at Charlotte Douglas Airport in North Carolina.

Emily （人命などを）奪う，主張するs this airport is 'by far the worst when it comes to prosthetics' as 'it's like 非，不，無 of those TSA スパイ／執行官s have seen a prosthetic 脚 before in their life.'

On one occasion, she went through the scanner, and had her 手渡すs and prosthetic swabbed with nothing flagged. She thought she was good to go, but they 突然に took her into a 支援する room where she was told to take her pants off.?

She said, 解任するing the 出来事/事件: 'I'm?trying to be unproblematic, so I'm like dropping my pants and I'm sitting there in my thong and they're swabbing my whole 脚 again and checking my bikini area.

'I'm literally in a thong like what can I be hiding up ther e... Finally they let me go.

'That 状況／情勢 just stands out?because nothing went wrong with the 初期の 審査 過程 so I don't know why they felt the need to bring me into a 支援する room and literally have me sit half naked for them.'

Like the ladies?Alex Parra?-?who had his 脚 amputated as a result of 行う／開催する／段階-two bone 癌 - says he never travels without his 脚 on him.

He explains in a TikTok that one 選択 as an amputee is to put your prosthetic into your checked スーツケース, but then there is 危険 of it 潜在的に getting lost.

While packing his 捕らえる、獲得する ahead of a trip to Los Angeles he says: 'Imagine if an airport lost this スーツケース, not only are they losing all the stuff in your スーツケース but they're losing your 脚... I've already lost one, I don't wanna lose another one.'

To 避ける any chances of losing his 脚 he puts into a separate 捕らえる、獲得する that he can take on the 計画（する） as 手渡す luggage.?

He 結論するs: 'I don't 信用 anyone with my prosthetic thing... It doesn't leave my 味方する.'
