Game on in Greece: As holiday 会社／堅い 示す Warner turns 50, we check out its Paleros 訴える手段／行楽地 and discover that whatever your age, you're in for an 活動／戦闘-packed break

The year is 1974. Abba have just won Eurovision with Waterloo and McDonald’s is about to 明かす its first UK restaurant. And while it won’t impart the same meteor-sized dent on our cultural life as those two, friends 示す Chitty and Andy Searle are 解雇する／砲火／射撃ing up a 小型の-革命 in international travel: the 開始する，打ち上げる of 示す Warner.

And by 1996 they’d settled on today’s 判型 ? hot 場所, beachfront, pool, 地元で sourced food, morning-to-evening childcare, and as many activities as a family might reasonably cram into a day.< /p>

From sailing to tennis, mountain biking to 演習 classes, scuba 飛び込み to wakeboarding and 選び出す／独身-scull 列／漕ぐ／騒動ing, you 下落する in and out as you like. And it’s all 含むd in the headline price, along with flights, 移転s, accommodation and half-board.
For my money (and no one is pretending these holidays are cheap), 示す Warner has perfected its （手先の）技術 at its Paleros 訴える手段／行楽地 in a bay three hours north of Athens and a mere 30-minute 移転 from Preveza Airport.
Our visit had a simple 客観的な: mum and dad to get as much relaxing done as possible while our young son Freddy did the opposite. With any luck, I might also manage to 直す／買収する，八百長をする my dodgy tennis forehand.
The main imponderable we had was how to keep our restless three-year-old entertained 井戸／弁護士席 past his bedtime while we ate dinner. A lot of buggy wheeling was 星／主役にするing us in the 直面する.

Every evening at 7.30pm we dropped off Freddy at ‘sleep club’. You enter one of the childcare rooms and it’s like a 小型の cinema ? 薄暗い lighting, 空気／公表する 条件ing, a projector beaming on to the 塀で囲む ? albeit with children snuggled up in pyjamas on （軍の）野営地，陣営ing mattresses. On the 審査する they show a short film ? think The Snail And The 鯨 ? followed by a longer classic such as Beauty And The Beast. One by one, the children drift off to sleep.
The Paleros evening meal, like breakfast, is a buffet. The fish is fresh, the souvlaki superb and the Greek doughnuts delicious. If you’re in the mood, you end the evening at the pub 質問（する） or musical bingo (a music 質問（する） with a bingo finale) at the beach 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業.

By 10.30pm we 選ぶ up Freddy ? and he’s out like a light for the night.
Paleros is just across the Ionian Sea from the white beaches of Lefkada ? a popular island to which 示す Warner 申し込む／申し出s excursions. The 訴える手段／行楽地, just across the road from Potamaki Beach, is a mixture of 130 郊外住宅s and rooms surrounded by flowers, lush 青葉 and 見解（をとる）s of olive grove-覆う？ mountains. Breakfast and dinner are served in the main restaurant (lunch is at the taverna by the sea) but most guests sit outside at （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs by the pool 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業.
The 控訴，上告 of a 示す Warner holiday is that guests are dotted around the 訴える手段／行楽地 ? out on the waves, bikes, tennis 法廷，裁判所s or in childcare ? so there are always 解放する／自由な sun loungers around the three pools.
Olly, the 訴える手段／行楽地’s young tennis プロの／賛成の, did manage to 救助（する） my forehand, and just in time for the Friday tournament.
As for childcare, you can 調書をとる／予約する three hours either in the morning or afternoon each day, and we were hugely impressed by the service.
There are 確かな things you can take for 認めるd on these types of holidays: a wealth of activities, evening entertainment, social interaction ? and 確かな things you can’t: the 質 of the food, the sea 気温, the 乗り気 of staff and the reliability of the childcare. On all the 決定的な imponderables, 示す Warner’s Paleros 証明するd to be a 勝利.
