When she visited Reykjavik for the first time in 2000, Anita Rani fell in love with アイスランド and 約束d herself she'd be 支援する to 調査する more of the country.

It may have taken 25 years, but the TV and 無線で通信する presenter, 47, finally got the chance to return last month.

And now, in an 排除的 interview with MailOnline, Anita 明らかにする／漏らすs why she 設立する アイスランド just as, if not more, magical the second time around, as she 長，率いるd off the beaten 跡をつける on a Discover The World 小旅行する.

Rather than starting her trip in アイスランド's 資本／首都, Anita drove two hours south to stay at Ranga Hotel, 位置を示すd between Hella and Hvolsv?llur, where she also did some stargazing.

'It's the most incredible hotel, in the most picturesque setting, and I had the most amazing meal, with delicious ワイン,' Anita tells us. 'But also the people who run it are brilliant.?

'The owner, Fridrik, is amazing. He joined us for dinner and was the funniest, most brilliant person.

'Icelandic people have a 広大な／多数の／重要な sense of humour, just very 乾燥した，日照りの, but also so 熱烈な about their country.?

'They really love it and really live in tune with their land, and when you visit アイスランド, you can understand why.

Anita flew in a ヘリコプター over the Reykjanes Penninsular and saw Grindavik, which, two weeks 事前の, had seen its seventh 火山 爆発 in the last four years

'The 火山 [pictured] was still steaming and smoking, and that was really magical,' she says. 'It was incredible to see the steaming 溶岩 where it 爆発するd from'

'It is so wild and so alive. The Earth is literally steaming and speaking to you. So you can understand why people are so proud of it.'

It was 飛行機で行くing in a ヘリコプター over the Reykjanes Penninsular that Anita felt this most - as she saw Grindavik, which, two weeks 事前の, had seen its seventh 火山 爆発 in the last four years.?

'It was still steaming and smoking, and that was really magical,' she says. 'It was incredible to see the steaming 溶岩 where it 爆発するd from, 飛行機で行く over in a 火山, and then 現実に do a 運動 負かす／撃墜する to the town which had been 避難させるd.?

'But they are so 井戸／弁護士席 kitted, they just know what to do. They are so on 最高の，を越す of it, like these 大規模な 脅迫者s are ready to move the 溶岩 where it needs to be.?

'I was so impressed. It just felt very, very 冷静な／正味の.'

Another 最高潮の場面 for Anita was the Katla Ice 洞穴 小旅行する she did in a '大規模な monster トラックで運ぶ with tyres up to my 長，率いる' - even getting the chance to see an 北極の fox up の近くに.

She continues: 'That was unbelievable, because that was when I got a real sense of the landscape.

'We drove along the road for I don't know how many hours, through lots of hills, and just really picture perfect scenery.?

'And then we took a 権利 and just drove across this glacier for ages,?to these ice 洞穴s, and the sun was perfect.?

'And then when we got to the ice 洞穴s, it started snowing, and this 北極の fox appeared.?

'I've never seen one before and it was just so gorgeous and so 削減（する）, just a fluffy white fox, and it was really curious.?

'They must be used to people coming, because he sat around with us for ages.

'The ice 洞穴s are also amazing because they're only there for a short period of time, because then they 解散させる and they disappear, so you're 証言，証人／目撃するing something that is never going to be the same again, because it's always changing.'

Anita did also do some of the more popular tourist experiences - 含むing snorkelling between two tectonic plates at Silfra, ea ting and drinking in Reykjavik, and relaxing in the hot springs at Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon.

But Anita says neither Blue Lagoon or Sky Lagoon compare to アイスランド's newest hot springs, Hvammsvik - which she says is the 'most amazing place'.

She says: 'A chap who used to own an 航空機による bought this area and 変えるd these 所有物／資産／財産s into these lovely cottages, so you can stay there.?

Hvammsvik (pictured) 'is on the 辛勝する／優位 of this 半島, and the sea comes in, and you've got these hot springs 権利 there'. Anita says: 'It was the m ost amazing thing. I loved it so much. It was unbelievable'

'And the Icelandic people are so classy. They have 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業s at the hot springs, so you can drink シャンペン酒 while in the hot water.?

'I was in heaven.'

Anita is already planning to 長，率いる 支援する to アイスランド, and is thinking about 調書をとる／予約するing all the accommodation at Hvammsvik for her and her friends to celebrate her 50th birthday - if not before.

She says: 'I cannot rave about アイスランド enou gh. To me, it was the perfect holiday.

'I honestly think if people love holidaying and want to do something different, everyone should visit アイスランド once in their life.'
