Best flight websites: The world is your oyster, if you know where to look...

With dozens of 航空機によるs 飛行機で行くing from the UK on many hundreds of 大勝するs, finding the most convenient flight at the best price can be a tall order.

Even simple-sounding propositions can turn out to be daunting. Want a flight to southern Spain? If you live in the south-east of England, you could 飛行機で行く to Malaga from Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, London City and Southend airports, with six 航空機によるs. You could also 選ぶ to 飛行機で行く to Gibraltar, Jerez or Seville instead...

Long-運ぶ／漁獲高 flights are even more 複雑にするd. For example, at least a dozen 航空機によるs can 輸送（する） you from London to Sydney, and variations not only 含む the fare, but the length of 旅行 and the 場所 and number of 途中滞在s.

Knowledge is 力／強力にする: Do your 研究 and there are 貯金 to be had on flights

Visiting each of the 航空機によるs' websites to work out the best 選択 is time 消費するing - and, thankfully, unnecessary. Price-comparison websites specialising in flights 目的（とする） to 供給する a 完全にする picture on the basis of a 選び出す／独身 search. It's also 価値（がある） seeing what an online travel スパイ／執行官 can come up with, and having a browse of a simple 'who 飛行機で行くs where' website.

Of the many websites 約束ing to help you find flights, here are six that stand out.?

www.skyscanner.逮捕する

Skyscanner does a very good 職業 at comparing fares, both for scheduled and 借り切る／憲章 航空機によるs (ones like Thomson and Thomas Cook). Most importantly, on a 最近の 実験（する） of flight-comparison websites by the 消費者 organisation Which?, Skyscanner （機の）カム up with the cheapest possible fare in every シナリオ.

Another excellent price-comparison website. It has a clean, 使用者-friendly design and 株 many Skyscanner's strengths, 含むing helpful filters, and neatly separating スパイ／執行官s' fares from 航空機によるs' own fares. An 付加 useful feature is that it will pull up fares on 大勝するs to 代案／選択肢 airports 近づく the main 目的地 you're 利益／興味d in - for example, for southern Spain to Gibraltar and Seville と一緒に Malaga.

This Denmark-登録（する）d, price-comparison website has many of the 質s of Skyscanner and Kayak. It also 申し込む／申し出s a clever new 道具 that 率s flights out of 10 based on factoring in both their cost and duration - 特に useful when 重さを計るing up long-運ぶ／漁獲高, indirect flights.

Expedia is the 主要な online スパイ／執行官. Unlike the price-comparison websites, you can 調書をとる／予約する on the website, and 同様に as flights on their own, it also 申し込む／申し出s 熱心に 定価つきの, flight-加える-accommodation/car 雇う bookings. All of which means it can be a 広大な／多数の／重要な one-stop shop. But I'd only turn to Expedia for long-運ぶ／漁獲高 trips. For European flights, it can fail to show some low-cost flight 選択s, and fares 申し込む／申し出d can いつかs be higher than those direct from the 航空機によるs.

The （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） is pretty 正確な, but from my experience not 100 per cent reliable, and while some useful general advice is given on indirect 選択s, you're not told about all the 可能性s. Also, the 大勝する （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） is from UK airports only.

Cheapflights calls itself a flight 取引，協定s publisher. Say where you want to 飛行機で行く to, and it will show you an 広範囲にわたる 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） of companies - 航空機によるs, online スパイ／執行官s, telephone-only スパイ／執行官s - that will sell you a ticket, and their lead-in fares. In my opinion, it's a useful starting point for long-運ぶ／漁獲高 flights when you're very 柔軟な and want to do 広範囲にわたる digging around, but that's about it.

And the 勝利者 is...

Skyscanner. However, don't rely on any 選び出す／独身 website to find flights and best fares. For one thing, fares on price-comparison 場所／位置s are not やむを得ず bang up to date. Also 公式文書，認める that 非，不，無 of the websites （一定の）期間s out 正確に／まさに how much you have to 支払う／賃金 for extras such as checked-in 捕らえる、獲得するs etc.
