The theatre is 激しく揺するing as musical maestro Jools Holland 続けざまに猛撃するs the piano at breakneck 速度(を上げる）, 誘発するing the excited audience to jump to its feet. As I join the （人が）群がるs who've 急ぐd to the 前線 of the 行う／開催する／段階 to dance to the intoxicating （警官の）巡回区域，受持ち区域, I have to pinch myself when I remember this is a Saga 巡航する.

Admittedly we 港／避難所't 始める，決める sail yet, but I'm の中で the first guests to experience life 船内に Saga 巡航するs' new £346 million ship Spirit of 発見 on the day it was 指名するd by the Duchess of Cornwall earlier this month, 事実上 under the 影をつくる／尾行する of Dover's white cliffs.

Around 500 guests gathered for a quayside garden party to celebrate the 開始する，打ち上げる of what Saga 布告するs to be the most British of ships, celebrating the romance of travel, albeit with a modern 新たな展開.

On stepping into the atrium a few days later as the ship 出発／死s on its 就任の voyage around Britain, I'm transfixed by the 26 ft-high bronze-影響 centrepiece stretching up three decks - one of 1,200 precious 作品 on board which carry a £1 million-加える price tag.

As I walk around, it's （疑いを）晴らす that Spirit of 発見 is a game changer with chic 内部のs in a palette of 冷静な／正味の shades; 石油 blues, smoky greys, fawn and ivory, 奮起させるd by London hotels.

Whether Saga 巡航するing purists will be 説得するd by this remains to be seen, though guests on the maiden voyage are 肯定的な, 特に after enjoying the 増加するd line-up of 施設s; from the line's first 目的-built theatre to a spa with 泡ing hydrotherapy pool and a library bursting with 3,500 調書をとる／予約するs.

Another 最高潮の場面 is The Club by Jools. This Fifties-style steakhouse-cum-cabaret lounge was created with Jools Holland and struck a chord with me for its beautifully-cooked prime 削減（する）s served to the lilting 背景 of live musical 業績／成果s.

The musician has 調印するd up to play in this intimate setting on a trio of 2020 sailings, but such is the 利益／興味 that he's 始める，決める to play 十分な-on gigs in the theatre, too.

The Spirit of 発見 is the first of two new boutique-style Saga 大型船s (Spirit of Adventure arrives in August next year).

With its smart 海軍 船体 and 独特の canary-yellow funnel, Spirit of 発見 looks the part and I join other 巡洋艦s to stroll along its wraparound promenade deck (four 回路・連盟s equals a mile), a 伝統的な feature often 行方不明の from modern 巡航する ships.

The centrepiece of the outdoor decks is the charming art deco style lido pool, where I dangle my feet in the water and soak up its British seaside 訴える手段／行楽地 ambience, before 見本ing cocktails in the airy Britannia Lounge.

Mealtimes take on another stately Grand dimension with the Dining Room living up to its 指名する for British fare and international dishes, with many 成分s sourced from around the UK.?

I prefer both the food and the service in speciality 発生地s East to West and Coast to Coast, which serve Asian cuisine and seafood それぞれ for no extra 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金.

The Spirit of 発見 doesn't just 約束 to 激しく揺する the boat; it's shaking up Saga's image, too. You could say it has come of age.?
