The Queensland natives have been best friends for almost 20 years and began going to festivals together over six years ago.
Jodee, who 作品 in the disability 部門, and landscaper Lorna both took a month off work to travel Australia together in their campervan.
It took them a 十分な week to travel the 2,000km from their home in Hervey Bay to the Mundi Mundi Bash Festival, which is 位置を示すd just outside Australia's oldest 採掘 town Broken Hill in the NSW outback.
'We are best friends who travel together, we have a month off at the moment and this is the start of it,' Jodee told Daily Mail Australia as her 12-year-old bird Philly - who is 無能にするd and can't 飛行機で行く - perched on her shoulder.???

'We have known each other for 19 years, we don't have partners so we just are best friends who go on adventures together.'?
Lorna agreed with her friend that getting rid of the men was 重要な to their spontaneous adventures, as she 追加するd: 'Every time you have a partner you do いっそう少なく, so if you get rid of the partner then you do more!'?
The Queensland natives arrived in style for the festival which saw 12,000 people descend to the Mundi Mundi plains - which is 据えるd just 10km from the tiny town of Silverton that has a 全住民 of just 50 people.?

Jodee and Lorna met 19 years ago because of their 共同の love of adventure. They 攻撃する，衝突する it off after 存在 introduced to one another by their friends in a four-wheel 運動 club.
'We travel to lots of motorbike, four-wheel 運動 and campervan trips, whatever comes up,' Lorna said.
'I do all the 航海 and most of the 運動ing and between us we are so opposite but we work together somehow, it's awesome.'
On their way to the festival from Hervey Bay, the women did a 大規模な pub はう- stopping in all the most 利益／興味ing 位置／汚点／見つけ出すs on their 2,000km 旅行.
'We drove all the way with the bird, we did a big pub はう,' Lorna said.
'The people we met here on the way we have 現実に met in here at the festival, they are like family, we cuddle now when we see each other.'
The friends said they love …に出席するing festivals because they are big music fans, but also it's a way to escape from their lives at home and 会合，会う some amazing people.

As the Mundi Mundi bash is in such a remote area, there is no signal and people can only get internet 接近 by 支払う／賃金ing $10 a day and standing in a 確かな area.
This doesn't bother Lorna and Jodee though, as they are more than happy to switch off for a few days and just enjoy the music, some beers, and introducing Philly the bird to some new people.
'Out here we are with real people, in the city, it feels very 偽の, since Covid people are different,' Lorna said.
