'I have a reading age of twelve': Kara Tointon 前線s a new 文書の on her 戦う/戦い with dyslexia

It's not something most people would care to own up to, but Eastenders starlet Kara Tointon has bravely 認める to having a reading age of twelve.

The actress, 26, has made the 明らかにする/漏らすing 声明 as part of a BBC3 文書の about dyslexia 苦しんでいる人s.

In the programme Ms Tointon is seen struggling to read a 調書をとる/予約する in a bookshop, and says she has trouble reading and memorising her lines for last-minute auditions.

Danny Cohen of BBC3 said, 'It's really 勇敢に立ち向かう of Kara to do this film.

'It's an 問題/発行する not many people are comfortable talking about'.

Kara Tointon - Don't Call Me Stupid is one of a 一連の programmes on BBC3 this autumn about 星/主役にするs and their health afflictions.

N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos will appear in a 文書の about her mother's schizo-affective disorder, and Jeff Brazier will talk about his brother Spencer's cerebral palsy.

Kara, who 設立する fame as 夜明け Swann on Eastenders, has only made one other television 外見 since she left the soap in August last year.
