With the 普及した 人気 of vampire franchises like Twilight and True 血, it was only a 事柄 of time before this one was brought 支援する to life.

教団 1990s television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer is 存在 brought to the big 審査する.

But any 初期の excitement felt by fans has 鈍らせるd as it 現れるd that not only are 非，不，無 of the 初めの cast members reprising their 役割s, but Buffy creator Joss Whedon has also been snubbed by Warner Bros.

Whedon has slammed the film studio for （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限ing a new adaptation of his work without his 協議.

'I always hoped that Buffy would live on even after my death. But, you know, after.'

Whedon was unhappy with the film, which starred Kristy Swanson and Beverly Hills 90210's Luke Perry, and was approached in 1997 to turn it into a television series.
