Dennis Waterman will play a TV 警官，（賞などを）獲得する for the first time since The Sweeney ended 25 years ago, it was 発表するd today.

The actor, who played 探偵，刑事 Sergeant George Carter in the hard-hitting ITV series, is to appear in BBC1's New Tricks.

He will play Gerry Standing, one of three retired policemen, who returns to take another look at an 未解決の 罪，犯罪.
