The pair, who married in 2010 after four years together, both saw their own parents' marriage break負かす/撃墜する when they were young, and 公約するd to work as a 'team' in their own 関係 to give their children a 'healthy family life'.
'We met and we were partners from day one,' the daughter of singer Lionel Richie said on Tuesday.
'And from the second we 設立する out we were going to be parents together, we looked at each other and we said, "Okay, both of our parents are 離婚d,"'
'We both have had ups and 負かす/撃墜するs with our parents, and we don't really have a strong example of what a healthy family life is. But, we're recognising that now, so let's work at it and let's go through this together as a team,'

As a mother, Nicole says she likes to be open and honest with her children and encourages them to speak up and have a '発言する/表明する'.
She said: 'I have to always come from a place of love and compassion with them.
'My kids operate best when I let them have a 発言する/表明する. I really explain things to them, because really, kids want to be told the truth. They just do. They just want you to be truthful.
'They can feel it and they know you. And they know you more than you know yourself.'
The couple have recently been making their 関係 go the distance as Joel 実行するs his television かかわり合いs on The 発言する/表明する Australia.
The tattooed rocker jetted out of Sydney to be 再会させるd with his young family last Tuesday after finishing up on his second season of the reality singing 競争 the night before.
