Posh 'ready to give up singing career'

You cannot say she didn't try. But after 非常に/多数の 試みる/企てるs at a 単独の music career, Victoria Beckham has 発表するd that she is ready to hang up her microphone.

The former Spice Girl, who has spent thousands making an album that will never be 解放(する)d, says she wants to concentrate on a new career as a 着せる/賦与するs designer.

What is more, she 収容する/認めるs for the first time what we have all guessed - that she was never that good at singing.

"I think it will be difficult for me to continue with my music career," Mrs Beckham, 30, said yesterday.

"The music 産業 is not what it was. It seems to me that people will readily 受託する me dedicating myself to fashion.

"I know that I could never become the best singer in the world. I am conscious of that.

"However, everything to do with fashion comes 自然に to me.

"I'm living in Spain and I have two sons. This takes up most of my time. 'The 残り/休憩(する) is taken up with design, which is my 広大な/多数の/重要な passion in life. I don't think I'll ever feel that passion for music again."

Mrs Beckham, who is 推定する/予想するing her third child in March, is the only former Spice Girl not to have had a 単独の number one.

In an interview with a Spanish magazine, she said her husband David was much happier with her new 職業, which means they no longer spend weeks apart.

"David loves my new career," she said. "He sees that I love it and that I work very hard to be able to stand out in this new 段階 of my professional career."
