McCartney's album 奮起させるd by loss of Linda

Sir Paul McCartney has said his new album 含む／封じ込めるs his first wife Linda's "spirit" and his grief over the loss of her to breast 癌 in 1998.

Sir Paul began composing it before she died but had to stop work on it for two years 予定 to his grief.

He said: "I just couldn't do anything really. I was just grieving."

At a 圧力（をかける）会議／協議会 in central London he said of the album, Ecce Cor Meum (Behold My Heart): "It has a lot of my feelings for her in it. I 徐々に got 支援する into it, I just sort of wrote my sadness out."

Wearing ジーンズs, a blue shirt and a pin-（土地などの）細長い一片 jacket, Sir Paul said of his fourth classical album: "I started it when Linda was alive, 初めは we went to Magdalen College together, so it has a lot my feelings for her in it."

"When she died it 立ち往生させるd me. I took a year or so before I could get 支援する into it. The interlude in the middle is a 特に sad melody and is what got me going again," he said.

"Her spirit is very much in this. It would have been her birthday yesterday so it's very appropriate."

The 星／主役にする wrote the piece after 存在招待するd by Anthony Smith, then 大統領，／社長 of Magdalen College, to compose something for a new concert hall at the 会・原則.

Sir Paul also 安心させるd his army of fans "I'm doing 罰金" に引き続いて the 崩壊（する） of his second marriage.

The ex-Beatle, who is locked in a 離婚戦う／戦い with wife Heather Mills, said music "支えるs" him.

He said: "I'm enjoying music. It's something I love to do. It's something that 支えるs me. So I'm enjoying it, finishing this 事業／計画（する） off and also the next one."

He said the lyrics to the album were 奮起させるd by what he believes is important in life - love, honesty and 親切.

Sir Paul said: "When I （機の）カム around to thinking 'what do I want the words to say?' I just wrote 負かす／撃墜する a whole 負担 of things that 利益／興味 me about truth, about love, about honesty and about 親切. Stuff that I thought was important in li fe."

Sir Paul said he was not always comfortable talking about his own music.

"It's not 平易な to talk about music, that's why you 令状 it," he said.

He said of the album: "I'm very proud of it. I do like it."

He 追加するd: "I don't get 伴う／関わるd in much instrumental music. It amazes me how you can hear a piece of music and it can 減ずる you to 涙／ほころびs."

"But there are no words so it shouldn't really be telling you anything but it does."

"It doesn't just tell people who are musically educated. It tells everyone. It reaches us. So that's one of the exciting 味方するs of this 事業／計画（する）, to 令状 instrumental music that can reach your heart."

He 追加するd: "I hope to reach new people all the time and I hope my 現在の fans will like it too."

The album was 記録，記録的な／記録するd at the Abbey Road Studios, where the Beatles also famously created their music.

Sir Paul said: "It's always nice to work there for me because it brings 支援する lots of memories."

The lyrics, which Sir Paul finished around six years ago, 連合させるd both English and Latin.

Sir Paul said at the 圧力（をかける）会議／協議会 at 記録，記録的な／記録する company EMI's offices in High Street Kensington: "I love what I do. I love 令状ing music. If I didn't do it for a living I'd do it for a hobby."

"I just love going in each day and trying to 令状 a piece of music. Each part of it (the album) was a thrill."

He said of the experience of 令状ing a choral piece: "Because I don't 公式に know what I'm doing, I could do anything. A lot of the stuff I like about the piece is oddball, it's nice to just feel very 解放する／自由な."

The 組織／臓器 from the Tower of London was used in the album and Sir Paul got the Latin 肩書を与える for the work from the 指名する of a statue he saw in a New York church.

Ecce Cor Meum will be 成し遂げるd at the 王室の Albert Hall in November.
