改造するd testcard gets a touch of Klass

The red hairband is the same and she's still not winning that game of noughts and crosses.

But there's something different about the girl on the testcard these days.

Eight-year-old Carole Hersee has been 取って代わるd - by 29-year-old Myleene Klass.

The 妊娠している pop 星／主役にする turned TV presenter has been 調印するd up as the 直面する of Sky's HD channel and will appear on an updated 見解／翻訳／版 of the testcard to be shown when the service is off the 空気／公表する.

In contrast to the 初めの static image, however, 行方不明になる Klass will step out of the でっちあげる，人を罪に陥れる - and give テレビ視聴者s a ten-minute guide to high-鮮明度／定義 television.

HD, as it is known, is a method of broadcasting which produces 意味ありげに 詐欺師 images.

Testcards were first introduced in the 1930s to to help engineers finetune TV 始める，決めるs.

The most famous - 実験（する） Card F - first appeared on our 審査するs 40 years ago. It was the first to feature a person - BBC engineer George Hersee's daughter Carole - so 調整s could be made for 肌 colour.

She was delighted when her image finally disappeared from the nation's 審査するs. "I became fed up 審理，公聴会 about it. It should have gone years ago," she said at the time.

行方不明になる Klass, a former member of the group Hear'Say who appeared in TV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, said: "I'm really excited to be the 直面する of the Sky HD testcard and to be taking part in a little piece of TV history.

"For me, the card evokes nostalgic childhood memories of 星／主役にするing at the TV waiting for Playschool."

Chris Johns, Sky's 長，指導者 engineer, 追加するd: "Myleene looked 広大な／多数の／重要な in the ジャングル and looks even better in HD. We hope that our Sky HD 実験（する） card will become as iconic as the 初めの."

テレビ視聴者s with HDTV will be able to tune into 行方不明になる Klass on Sky channel 268 from today.
