Carson Kressley was?catapulted into the limelight as one fifth of the 初めの Queer 注目する，もくろむ line-up from 2003 to 2007.

And after the series was rebooted and 指名するd for an Emmy earlier this year, the 48-year-old made headlines when he seemingly took a swipe at the new cast.

Carson called the 初めの series more groundbreaking than the 最新の incarnation but this week defended the comments to Daily Mail Australia.

'The question was 提起する／ポーズをとるd in a way that maybe it wasn't as groundbreaking and I agreed that at the time there just weren't as many 率直に gay people on television.?

He continued: 'In that way, maybe ours was more 進歩／革新的な.?But certainly theirs is trailblazing in a whole new different way.?

Carson went on to defend the new series, which features?Antoni Porowski,?Tan フラン,?Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and?Jonathan 先頭 Ness as the Fab Five.?

'I'm very proud of them and the brand that's still very much (v)提携させる(n)支部，加入者d with that and of course, I want them to do 井戸／弁護士席,' he said.

'We were always really good friends so it was just like 選ぶing up where we left off,' Carson said.

'I didn't realise home makeovers are so much more 伴う／関わるd than the makeovers I was doing on Queer 注目する，もくろむ.

'It's definitely an 注目する，もくろむ-opener and I definitely have a newfound 尊敬（する）・点 for home makeovers.'
