NSW health 労働者s to strike for 支払う/賃金 rise
Thousands of NSW healthcare 労働者s will walk off the 職業 需要・要求するing higher 給料 from the 政府, に引き続いて strikes by paramedics and nurses.
Under the 明言する/公表する's 給料 cap, public 部門 支払う/賃金 増加するs can not 合法的に 越える 2.5 per cent but the Health Services Union 持続するs this is not enough with インフレーション running at 3.5 per cent.
"We don't need another 政治家,政治屋 thanking us for 存在 heroes of the pandemic, we need a 支払う/賃金 rise," said HSU NSW 長官 Gerard Hayes.
Mr Hayes says the planned 産業の 活動/戦闘 on Thursday will 含む stopping work for four hours at major metro hospitals and two hours at 地域の hospitals.
The union says it will 含む 労働者s across 救急車, きれいにする, 連合した health, admin, 安全, catering and 区s.
"Health and hospital 労働者s are 存在 粉砕するd by higher prices and 沈滞した 給料," Mr Hayes said.
"NSW and the nation 猛烈に need higher 給料 and this needs to start in the NSW health system."
The planned 停止s follow 類似の 活動/戦闘s by paramedics and nurses last week.
Nurses from up to 170 hospitals statewide took part in a 一連の 決起大会/結集させるs on Thursday, with 集まりs of them carrying 掲示s 抗議するing outside 議会 House in Sydney asking for more staff on 手渡す.
Debbie Ross, a 臨床の nurse in the 感染 支配(する)/統制する Department at Sydney Hospital with three 10年間s of experience, told AAP on the day: "I'm just fed up and I'm angry. The system is broken."
Health 大臣 Brad Hazzard said he was disappointed with nurses walking off the 職業, 公式文書,認めるing 需要・要求するs for better staffing and 支払う/賃金 rises would 緊張する the 明言する/公表する's 財政/金融s.
対立 Leader Chris Minns 勧めるd the 政府 on Sunday to sit 負かす/撃墜する with disaffected staff.
"If インフレーション is 予報するd to be 4.8 per cent in Sydney over the next 12 months ... but the 給料 cap is pegged at 2.5 per cent, then the 政府 is 効果的に 説 we want you to have a real 行う 削減(する) .
"That's not going to 削減(する) it ... The 政府's going to have to step up to the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, the 需要・要求するs of paramedics are real and 激烈な/緊急の," he said.
"It looks to me like everything is going up in NSW, except 給料".
