女性（の） stargazer makes 天文学の input
When Anne Green began her career 熟考する／考慮するing the 星／主役にするs, women were such a rarity in the male-支配するd field that special 準備／条項s had to be made.
"When I first went to the telescope to 観察する, I was given the professor's room because it was the only one with a にわか雨; they hadn't even considered that there would be women 天文学者s," she said.
Professor Green's 50-year career in astrophysics and astronomy has been dotted with firsts.
She was the first 女性（の） PhD physics student at Sydney University, receiving her 博士号 in 1973. She went on to become one of the first women 無線で通信する 天文学者s and the university's first 女性（の） 長，率いる of physics.
Much of her work 伴う／関わるd mapping the 乳の Way and 熟考する／考慮するing the 残余s of 爆発するd 星／主役にするs, known as supernovae.
"The 推論する／理由 I was so 利益／興味d in astronomy is because what you see in the sky is so different to what we have on Earth ... the 規模 of the universe is 驚くべき／特命の／臨時の," Prof Green said.
"The southern 半球 has the best 星／主役にするs - if you go to outback Australia and look at the 星／主役にするs 総計費, it's just a 素晴らしい sight."
Prof Green was one of several 女性（の） scientists to be recognised with the 最高の，を越す award in the Queen's Birthday Honours 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）.
She was 任命するd as a Companion of the Order of Australia for her 出資／貢献s to science as a 研究員, educator and 助言者.
"I've had 適切な時期s in my career that, in hindsight, I'm gobsmacked about, but every time I've been 申し込む／申し出d an 適切な時期, I've 受託するd the challenge," she said.
"That's something I've always said to young scientists, 特に women, to take the challenge when it's 申し込む／申し出d."
Australia's 長，指導者 defence scientist, Tanya Monro, was recognised for her 出資／貢献s in the field of photonics, while 南極の 研究員 Patricia Selkirk was 選び出す／独身d out for her 出資／貢献s to science and 自然保護.
Queensland 知事 Jeannette Young, 以前は the sta te's 長，指導者 health officer, was recognised for her service to public health 行政 and 医療の 研究.
