Australians honoured for Kabul 避難／引き上げs
When Afghanistan's 資本／首都 city fell 支援する under the 支配（する）／統制する of the Taliban in 2021, Australian 軍隊s were の中で those called on to 緊急に 避難させる its 国民s and 認可する the 出発 of foreign 国家のs from the Kabul airport.

A number of Australian 軍の 職員／兵員 伴う／関わるd in the 避難／引き上げ of more than 4000 people from Afghanistan have now been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）.
Six have been awarded a Distinguished Service メダル (DSM), while another eight have been given the Commendation for Distinguished Service.

From the RAAF, Wing 指揮官 Steven Duffy received a DSM after 調整するing the airlift 操作／手術 from the airport.
He was also recognised for his 成果／努力s on August 24, 2021, when he led a bus 軍用車隊 使節団 through Kabul to 救助（する） 86 Australians.
Two 無名の 州警察官，騎馬警官s were given Commendation for Distinguished Service for their work during the 避難／引き上げ, while Major Matthew Hamill received that same 承認 for his leadership.
Another RAAF 操縦する, 空気／公表する Commodore Angela Castner, was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the 軍の 分割.
She was recognised for her service in the 兵たん業務 全労働人口, 含むing for the Afghanistan 避難／引き上げ.
後部 海軍大将 Michael Rothwell received a 目だつ Service Cross, having overseen the 撤退 of Australian 軍隊s from Afghanistan.
