New way to rid water of 有毒な 化学製品s
Australian 研究員s have 開拓するd a new way to 除去する いわゆる forever 化学製品s from water, 約束ing to revolutionise how 汚染するd 場所／位置s at 扱う／治療するd.
The novel 過程 uses a 解答 that coats 粒子s of 有毒な, long-lived PFAS 化学製品s, giving them a 磁石の field.
A magnet can then be used to attract and 除去する them from water in 記録，記録的な／記録する time, without the need for 接近 to electricity.
Lab 実験（する）s have shown the 過程 can （疑いを）晴らす 95 per cent of PFAS from 高度に 汚染するd water in いっそう少なく than a minute. That jumps to 99.9 per cent when teamed with other PFAS extraction techniques 伴う／関わるing membranes.
The method is the work of University of Queensland polymer 化学者／薬剤師 Cheng Zhang and PhD 候補者 Xiao Tan, who believe it 持つ／拘留するs 広大な／多数の／重要な 約束.
They are 特に excited about its 使用／適用s at remote 場所／位置s where there is no 力／強力にする for the pumps and filters 従来の methods use.
"Our method shows it is possible to 除去する more of these 化学製品s in a way that is faster, cheaper, cleaner and very simple," he says.

"Our team will now 規模 up the 実験（する）ing and we hope to have a commercially 利用できる 製品 ready in the next three years," Dr Zhang says.
PFAS is the short 指名する for a 広大な family of 化学製品s that have been in ありふれた use for １０年間s 予定 to their heat, water and stain-repelling 所有物／資産／財産s.
They are 現在の in everything from food 一括ing and make-up to paint, carpet and fabric. But their long-称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 use, 含むing in 重工業, has come at 広大な／多数の／重要な cost.
PFAS 化学製品s don't easily break 負かす／撃墜する so they build up in 工場／植物s, 含むing 農業の 刈るs, in animals and in human 団体／死体s.
They also migrate easily, 経由で 空気／公表する and water, and are now detectable in pretty much every ecosystem on earth, 含むing in polar ice, river and groundwater systems.
