Playing days over, Dan Christian 注目する，もくろむs coaching career
T20 specialist Dan Christian is keen on (1)偽造する／(2)徐々に進むing a coaching career now that his days 小旅行するing the world as an in-需要・要求する allrounder are over.
The 39-year-old 発表するd 計画（する）s to retire last month and played his last game of professional cricket at the SCG on Thursday night, when the Brisbane Heat 除去するd his Sydney Sixers in the penultimate game of the Big Bash 決勝戦.
In total, globetrotter Christian played 409 games of T20 cricket for 18 different teams in six different countries and 代表するd Australia a total of 43 times in white-ball cricket.
Ahead of his final game, both teams gathered to honour Christian, who was then unable to 示す the occasion with 花火s on a slow SCG wicket, getting bowled by Spencer Johnson for seven just as the Sixers' innings was beginning to go pear-形態／調整d.
He wasn't given the chance to roll the arm over either but did catch Heat 船長／主将 Jimmy Peirson from the bowling of fellow 退役軍人 Steve O'Keefe
On 発表するing his 退職, Christian 認める his 願望（する） to train had 病弱なd this summer but after the loss to the Heat, said he had no 意向s of leaving the game behind altogether.
"I'm definitely not lining up to do a nine to five 職業," he told reporters.
"I'll probably put my 手渡す up somewhere and try to get a (coaching) gig somewhere."
Christian had a taste of coaching at last year's T20 World Cup, when he and former South Africa coach Gary Kirsten were the two marquee 調印s to the Netherlands' staff for the Australian-based tournament.
He said taking on leadership 役割s as a player had 固く結び付けるd his 意向s to coach.
"I've really enjoyed 存在 an older player and 存在 able to help the younger guys in whatever way 形態／調整 or form that I can, be it with 策略 or with any 肉親，親類d of experience that I've had," Christian said.
"I suppose coaching's the exact same thing without the 圧力 of having to 成し遂げる on the field."
Sixers captain Moises Henriques 是認するd Christian's career aspirations but encouraged his former チーム仲間 to give himself time to relax in 退職 first.
"He's going to be 行方不明になるd for sure but hopefully we can keep him 伴う／関わるd in some capacity," Henriques said.
"He's the type of guy that whatever he tries to put his mind to, he should be okay.
"I just hope he enjoys the next 一時期／支部 of his life and doesn't try to 軍隊 it too quickly.
"He's been playing cricket for a long time so hopefully for him it's six months of ゴルフ somewhere, and just enjoy that, get his 障害（者） even lower and then he can worry about working after that."
