Seibold wants Flanagan at Saints, Bennett 自信のない
St George Illawarra's only 首相の職-winning coach Wayne Bennett has discouraged the Dragons from 選ぶing Shane Flanagan as their new 助言者, 説 a younger coach would be more suitable.
Bennett's comments come after the Dragons met with 首相の職-winning ex-Cronulla coach Flanagan on Wednesday as they 捜し出す a 永久の 後継者 for the 解雇（する）d Anthony Griffin.
The last-placed Dragons 最初 目的（とする）d to have 明かすd their new coach by now but were 軍隊d to change tack when 前線-走者 Jason Ryles knocked them 支援する last week.
首相の職-winning ex-Dragons, and 現在の NRL assistants, Dean Young and Ben Hornby remain in the club's thoughts, as does Flanagan, who is the only one on the shortlist with 長，率いる-coaching experience.
現在／一般に an assistant at Manly, Flanagan's background as a 長，率いる coach has dovetailed 井戸／弁護士席 with Sea Eagles boss Anthony Seibold since the pair began working together this year.
"Any coaching staff that has an ex-長，率いる coach ... that's a really 肯定的な thing because they've been through the furnace," Seibold said.
"From my understanding, it was a really 肯定的な conversation that they had (on Wednesday).
"(Flanagan) feels as though there'll be a 決意／決議 sooner rather than later.
"I hope he gets the 職業. He's qualified to get the 職業."
Bennett felt a different approach would work better for his old club, 説 the Dragons needed to commit to 再構築するing around a younger coach.
The 現在の イルカs 助言者 led the Dragons to the 2010 首相の職, leaving a year later.
The club have subsequently 解雇（する）d three other coaches - Steve Price, Pau l McGregor and Griffin - in the 追跡 of an elusive second 肩書を与える.

"Changing your coach every week doesn't help," Bennett said.

"They're wonderful men," he said.

Time is of the essence for the Dragons, who are keen for their new coach to begin working on roster 管理／経営 as soon as possible.
