However, they do need to take care in how they 適用する their 支配するs, 主要な／長／主犯s 連合 大統領，／社長 Philip Harding says.
High 法廷，裁判所 司法（官） David Collins has 支配するd St John's College was wrong to 一時停止する Year 12 student Lucan Battison because his disobedience wasn't serious enough and the school's hair 支配する was 不明瞭な.
Lucan's parents took the 事例／患者 to 法廷，裁判所 after new 主要な／長／主犯 Paul Melloy 一時停止するd Lucan for 辞退するing to 削減（する） his hair and the school 辞退するd his 申し込む／申し出 to tie his hair 支援する.
The 法廷，裁判所 move was irresponsible, says psychologist Nigel Latta, who argued schools need to be able to 始める，決める 支配するs and have them followed, even if people don't like them.
He did not think Lucan was a human 権利s 改革運動家, as his lawyer had tried to portray.
"Giving your kids the message that they only need to obey the school 支配するs they like is dumb," Mr Latta said in an internet 地位，任命するing.
But Mr Harding told NZ Newswire he doesn't believe there will be a 急ぐ of students taking their schools to 法廷，裁判所 because they don't like the 支配するs.
"This isn't about the school's ability to 支配する, it's about how the school 進歩s the problem through."
He said schools had to be careful about their 支配するs, make sure they were 水晶 （疑いを）晴らす and also be sensible about 適用するing them, Mr Harding said.

Judicial reviews were expensive and 破壊的な, he said.
