追求（する），探索（する） for Balibo truth （期間が）わたるs 40 years
"The truth is never too young to be told, nor too old."
So said 検死官 Dorelle Pinch as she summed up the 2007 検死 into the deaths of the Balibo Five in East Timor.
The truth is now 40 years old, and the men's families are still chasing it.
The NSW 検死 設立する television reporters Greg Shackleton and Malcolm Rennie, cameramen Gary Cunningham and Brian Peters, and sound recordist Tony Stewart, were 発射 or stabbed by Indonesian 軍隊／機動隊s on October 16, 1975, to 妨げる news of the 侵略 getting out.
The Australian 連邦の Police war 罪，犯罪s 調査 the 検死官 recommended was 負傷させる up last year.

"I don't mind doing an impossible thing and losing, but I'm not doing it without a fight," she told AAP.
Cunningham's son John Milkins agrees that whether it's the 40th 周年記念日 or the 50th, the 原則 remains the same.
"There no 疑問 in our mind that war 罪，犯罪s occurred and we will keep 追求するing that," he says.
"And because many of the Timorese that we speak to believe that if there is some 司法（官） for our 親族s, perhaps there's some 司法（官） for their lost family members 同様に."
In the UK, the families of Britons Rennie and Peters are still ロビーing their 政府 to get 伴う／関わるd.
Rennie's cousin 告訴する Spence, who was one of the last 親族s to see the 新聞記者／雑誌記者 alive, says the UK Foreign Office has dodged the 問題／発行する since 1975.
"I understand it will be 政治上 difficult, but a lot of things that 事柄 are," she argues.
Mrs Spence has visited Balibo, and like all the families, feels a 関係 with East Timor and cares 深く，強烈に about its 開発.

He is now 助言者 to Gerindra, the 政党 of Prabowo Subianto, who was 大統領 Joko Widodo's 対抗者 in last year's 選挙.
Former general Sutiyoso, who 辞退するd to …に出席する the 検死 to be questi oned about his service in East Timor, was this year 任命するd as 長，指導者 of Indonesia's 秘かに調査する 機関, BIN.
