Turnbull needs to stop 投票 slide: Joyce
Barnaby Joyce says if Malcolm Turnbull can't 逮捕(する) the 政府's 投票ing woes by the end of the year, he should consider stepping 負かす/撃墜する as 首相.
The 連合 lost a 30th Newspoll in a 列/漕ぐ/騒動 on Monday, a 示す Mr Turnbull used as a 推論する/理由 to 捨てる Tony Abbott.
Former 国家のs leader Mr Joyce - who doesn't have a say on the 自由主義の leadership - wants to wait until after the 予算 to make a "fair judgment" on Mr Turnbull's position.
Mr Joyce said if 信頼できる 投票ing continued to be poor deeper into the year, the 首相 should look at making way for an 代案/選択肢 leader.
"You have an 義務 not to 運動 your party or the 政府 off a cliff," Mr Joyce told Sky News.
"Nobody wants to go to a 連邦の 選挙 which you know you're going to lose. It's like playing in the losing grand final - no one wants to play in the losing 味方する.
"You have an 義務 to all around you that if you honestly believe that is the 事例/患者, then you must do something about it and do the honourable thing and start grooming an 代案/選択肢."
Mr Joyce 主張するs the 政府 is a "long, long way" from getting to the point where the 政府 should look at switching leaders.
His comments on Mr Turnbull's 未来 come months after the two men engaged in a public stoush during the 落ちる out from Mr Joyce's 事件/事情/状勢 with a スタッフの一員.
