Malaysia 決定／判定勝ち（する） raises hopes for Exposto
A 罪人／有罪を宣告するd Australian 麻薬 trafficker on （刑務所の）死刑囚棟 in Malaysia could escape the hangman's noose after the 政府 of 総理大臣 Mahathir Mohamad 発表するd 計画（する）s to 廃止する the 死刑.
An 控訴，上告 法廷，裁判所 in Malaysia 宣告，判決d Sydney grandmother Maria Elvira Pinto Exposto to death by hanging earlier this year after overturning her earlier 無罪放免 on 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s of trafficking 1.5kg of 水晶 methamphetamine into Malaysia.
"That will have a very very 肯定的な 影響 on Maria's 事例／患者, it means she won't 直面する the 死刑," Exposto's lawyer, Farhan Shafee, told AAP.
廃止 of the 死刑 was 発表するd on Wednesday - World Day Against the Death 刑罰，罰則 - and Shafee said 法律制定 was 推定する／予想するd to be （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するd in 議会 next week.
"We are still waiting for it to be （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するd," he said. "Of course we are very, very happy to read the news and we welcome this 決定／判定勝ち（する） by the 閣僚. This means Malaysia will 適合する with international 基準s, which we have always been 支持するing."
Exposto, 54, （人命などを）奪う，主張するd she was the 犠牲者 of a 始める，決める-up after she was 設立する with the 麻薬s stitched into the lining of her 捕らえる、獲得する when arriving in Kuala Lumpur on a flight from 中国 en-大勝する to Melbourne in 2014.
She was acquitted after the 裁判官 設立する she was scammed by her online boyfriend and was unaware she was carrying the 麻薬s. But the 起訴 in the 控訴，上告 argued Exposto had been wilfully blind, that her defence was made up and she had engaged in a "sly game".

" Today's 告示 is a major step 今後 for all those who have （選挙などの）運動をするd for an end to the 死刑 in Malaysia," Kumi Naidoo, 国際アムネスティ's 長官 General, said.
"Malaysia must now join the 106 countries who have turned their 支援するs for good on the ultimate cruel, 非人道的な, degrading 罰 - the world is watching."
