青年 mental health on 連合's 協議事項

総理大臣 Scott Morrison says his 政府 will continue to look for ways to 改善する the mental health of young Australians, after 意味ありげに 上げるing 基金ing for support centres across the nation.

Mr Morrison 明らかにする/漏らすd on Sunday the 連邦の 政府 will spend an extra $51.8 million on Headspace, which runs 107 青年 mental health centres nation-wide.

The 基金s, which will be rolled out from this 財政上の year, will help the centres 雇う more staff, 減ずるing wait times.

About $12.8 million of the money will go に向かって Headspace's online counselling and 治療 programs.

The 基金ing windfall comes as about one in four young Australians experience mental illness each year.

Mr Morrison says Headspace is one of the most successful mental health 率先s in the country, and is changing young people's lives.

"Headspace isn't just about getting counselling services. It's everything from helping young people get a 職業 to supporting their physical activity to 改善するing their 関係s," he told reporters in Adelaide on Sunday.

"It is 取引,協定ing with the whole person."

The 首相 said his 政府 will continue to look at what it can do in this space, taking advice from 支持するs such as Headspace 設立するing director Patrick McGorry.

"In fact, we are 会合 in Canberra (on Monday) to talk about where to from here," Mr Morrison said.

"That is what we will continue to do as a 政府 in this space."

Prof McGorry has 強調する/ストレスd young lives depend on such support.
