Perth uni builds 挟む-sized 衛星
A 衛星 the size of a 挟む has been created by a Perth university, with 計画(する)s on the horizon to 開始する,打ち上げる it into space.
Known as a cubesat, the 小型の 衛星 will be fully 実験(する)d on the ground before it's 開始する,打ち上げるd into space next year on a 再供給する ロケット/急騰する to the International Space 駅/配置する.
From there, it will be 解放(する)d into the 軌道 to take pictures of Australia.
It took a team of 12 staff and student engineers from Perth's Curtin University to develop the 衛星.
Curtin's Phil Bland said the team has managed to fit all the systems 要求するd to operate the 衛星 - 含むing the 力/強力にする, computer, steering and communications - on a 選び出す/独身 回路・連盟 board "about the size of a rather small 挟む".
"Having everything on a 選び出す/独身 回路・連盟 board means there is more room for what the 衛星 is carrying, which in this 事例/患者 will be a camera that will 逮捕(する) beautiful images of Australia taken from 軌道," Prof Bland said.
The 事業/計画(する) is part of a larger program at the university's new Space Science and 科学(工学)技術 Centre, which 目的(とする)s to 前進する both WA 産業 and 研究 and help build the 明言する/公表する's space 工学 能力s.
The university hopes it can 結局 help 飛行機で行く a WA 使節団 to the moon.
