Langer 奮起させるs Queensland winger Oates
When Allan Langer speaks, people listen - then usually 分裂（する） their 味方するs.
But Queensland winger Corey Oates says there is a serious 味方する to the larrikin Maroons 広大な／多数の／重要な and is 確信して it will 誘発する his try-得点する／非難する／２０ing resurgence in next week's 明言する／公表する of Origin series decider.
Oates 収容する／認めるs Langer - a former 34-Origin 星／主役にする for Queensland - is the life of the party at （軍の）野営地，陣営 Maroon, both on and off the field.
When Langer isn't helping Maroons 社債 at （軍の）野営地，陣営, he's 割れ目ing up Queensland players when running out as the water boy during 緊張した Origin games.
"He just runs past you and gives you a bit of cheek every now and again, it makes you relax," Oates said of Langer's presence as Maroons trainer.
"Even if you do something silly, he is the first bloke to come over and say 'it is 甘い mate let's go again, let's switch on, change your mindset', stuff like that.
"He has a laugh."
While the likeable Langer may enjoy a beer and a joke in （軍の）野営地，陣営, Oates was 確信して the former 支持する／優勝者 halfback's work ethic would help him discover his try-得点する／非難する／２０ing ways in Origin.
The lanky Brisbane flyer knows his way to the white （土地などの）細長い一片, sitting equal third in the NRL try-scorers' 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） with 10 from 13 games to date - just two behind leader Maika Sivo of Parramatta.
Yet Oates has only crossed three times in seven Origins to date, last 衝突，墜落ing over in Queensland's 18-14 Origin I victory.

"I just need to get myself in the best position to catch the ball. I was probably a bit lazy at the start of the year (for NRL club Brisbane)," Oates said.
"So I get Alf to kick me the ball in the sheds (before Broncos and Queensland games).
"He stands about three or four metres away from me and boots it at me pretty hard, then you get a feel for the ball.
"You find you are not snatching at it then, you let the ball come to your 手渡すs - it helps get my brain switched on."
Langer is a famous raconteur, effortlessly spinning a yarn that leaves Queensland squad members in stitches.
Yet Oates 主張するd Langer had plenty of words of 知恵 at （軍の）野営地，陣営 Maroon.
"The player he was and career he had, when he 会談 you listen," Oates said.
"His best advice? It's about having a 割れ目 and that it doesn't 事柄 if you have all the talent - you have to a bit of heart."
