New CLP leader to be there at NT 選挙
The Northern 領土's new 対立 leader Lia Finocchiaro has 拒絶するd the suggestion her time at the 舵輪／支配 could be short-lived and the Country 自由主義のs might 任命する／導入する a leader who is not in 議会.
Ms Finocchiaro 相続するd the 対立 leadership after Gary Higgins, the only other CLP MP in the NT 議会, 発表するd on Monday he was quitting the 職業 seven months out from the next 選挙.
There has been 憶測 the CLP could パラシュート（で降下する） in a high-profile leader as the Queensland 自由主義の 国家のs did with Campbell Newman when he was not yet an elected MP but led them to a 鎮圧するing victory.
"I am looking 今後 to working with our 優れた group of 候補者s that we have got already and 会合 the 未来 候補者s that will be 発表するd in a few short weeks and showing Territorians that we really are the 代案／選択肢 政府.
"I don't think anything that happens in Queensland is really 関連した to the Northern 領土 at all.

She is the second woman to lead the 45-year-old CLP.

Mr Higgins became leader after there were the only two CLP members left at the 2016 選挙 when Labor swept to 力／強力にする, winning 18 of the 25 seats.
