Australians asked to 示す Anzac Day online

With public 集会s banned and 制限s in place 予定 to coronavirus, the RSL is calling for the droves of Australians who usually turn out to services to 地位,任命する online messages of support or ビデオs of themselves reciting The Ode in the lead up to April 25.

RSL NSW 事実上の/代理 大統領,/社長 Ray James says The Ode is an 耐えるing 約束 to honour and remember Australian service 職員/兵員, and this year should be no different.

"The Ode is a 決定的な element of all Anzac Day services," Mr James said in a 声明 on Wednesday.

"Its words (are) embedded in the hearts and minds of Australians as a way we can solemnly communicate our 耐えるing 評価 for those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country."
