GHB overdose 事例／患者s raise alarm in SA
Six people have been 認める to a hospital in Adelaide in a string of 関心ing but 明らかに 関係のない GBH overdoses.
Two of the 患者s are in a serious 条件 with the others 報告（する）／憶測d to be stable with toxicology 実験（する）s 確認するing the three men and three women all took gamma hydroxybutyrate.
All six 現在のd to the Flinders 医療の Centre 早期に on Thursday morning.
"The 患者s do not appear to be 関係のある to one another through any 出席 at any event or 集会 and it is very unusual for us to see so many 孤立するd 事例／患者s coming into the 緊急 department at one time," South Australian 地元の Health 網状組織 臨床の Director Andrew Blyth said.
"We are 関心d there may be more of this GHB in the community and 緊急に 警告する anyone who has taken any liquid 麻薬 to 現在の to their closest 緊急 department straight away, even if they feel 井戸／弁護士席 and have no symptoms."
Dr Blyth said police had also been 通知するd about the overdoses.
GHB is a colourless, odourless liquid of variable 集中, usually sold in small 瓶／封じ込めるs or vials.
It is usually swallowed, with one to two millilitres 存在 a ありふれた illicit dose.
Overdose symptoms 含む unconsciousness that can last for three to four hours, 混乱, irritation and agitation, 不規律な breathing, memory loss and hallucinations.
Dr Blyth said overdoses with GHB could easily occur 予定 to its potency.
"We know an overdose of GHB can result in cardio-respiratory 逮捕（する） and 有毒性 depends on dose, the person's 負わせる, 寛容, individual susceptibility, and other 実体s taken," he said.
