Greens 選ぶ up swing in Tasmanian 選挙

Tasmania's Greens party has 選ぶd up a swing in 投票ing at the 明言する/公表する 選挙, 持つ/拘留するing two seats and nearly 安全な・保証するing a third.

明言する/公表する party leader Cassy O'Connor has been 保持するd in the Hobart-based 選挙民 of Clark, as has 現職の Rosalie Woodruff in Franklin.

With about 62 per cent of 投票(する)s counted on Saturday night, the Greens were showing a 肯定的な swing of more than four per cent.

Ms O'Connor 宣言するd the "Greens were 支援する in town" during a 非常に長い speech at the Hobart 一致する room in which she criticised the major parties.

"Our message to the next 首相, whoever that may be: stop trying to destroy the 共同の," she said.

"Be part of creating a greener, fairer, kinder 未来."

The party held five seats in 2010, when they formed 少数,小数派 政府 with Labor.

They dropped to three in 2014 and won just two at the last 選挙 2018, Ms O'Connor and Dr Woodruff.
