Vic hospitals 準備する for COVID-19 influx

Victoria's hospitals are 準備するing for a wave of COVID-19 患者s in coming weeks, as the 明言する/公表する 注目する,もくろむs 緩和するd 制限s once more people are vaccinated.

On Friday Victoria passed its 的 of 70 per cent first-dose ワクチン接種s for 適格の 受取人s, after a 記録,記録的な/記録する 43,993 jabs were 配達するd at 明言する/公表する-run 中心s in the 先行する 24 hours.

The 明言する/公表する 記録,記録的な/記録するd 510 new coronavirus 感染s on Friday - 95 per cent from Melbourne's north and west - and a woman 老年の in her 50s died.

The number of COVID-19 患者s 存在 認める to the 明言する/公表する's hospitals has risen by more than 450 per cent in 最近の weeks, with 37 患者s three weeks ago and 208 患者s in hospital on Friday.

There are 49 people in ICU with COVID-19, and 32 of those are on ventilators.
