US 国会議員s 勧めるd for the US not to 招待する Hong Kong's 許可／制裁d leader John 物陰／風下 to APEC, which will be held in San Francisco this year
A bipartisan group of 部隊d 明言する／公表するs 国会議員s 含むing Florida 上院議員 Marco Rubio has 勧めるd Joe Biden's 行政 to "禁じる" Hong Kong's 許可／制裁d leader from …に出席するing an 年次の 太平洋の 経済的な 首脳会議 in California.
The Chinese 財政／金融 中心 is one of the member economies of the Asia-太平洋の 経済的な 協調 (APEC) 貿易（する） 首脳会議, which is 予定 to be held in San Francisco in November.
But Hong Kong leader John 物陰／風下 was placed under US 許可／制裁s in 2020 by the Donald Trump 行政 予定 to his 役割 as the city's 安全 長，指導者 in 鎮圧するing 大規模な and at times violent プロの／賛成の-僕主主義 抗議するs in Hong Kong the year before.
"招待するing a 許可／制裁d human 権利s abuser is an affront to all those who have been 迫害するd by the Chinese 共産主義者 Party and (中国), and its proxies in Hong Kong," t he 国会議員s said Wednesday in an open letter to US 国務長官 Antony Blinken.
The US 財務省 had said in 2020 物陰／風下 was 伴う／関わるd in "coercing, 逮捕（する）ing, 拘留するing, or 拘留するing individuals" under the 当局 of a Beijing-課すd 国家の 安全 法律.
"予定 to his status as a 許可／制裁d individual, 大統領 物陰／風下 is not 許すd to visit the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs unless given a 権利放棄 by the 行政," said the letter's 加盟国s, which 含むd 民主党員s Jeff Merkley and Jim McGovern 同様に as 共和国の／共和党の Chris Smith.

But the 国会議員s said Wednesday they were "狼狽d" by the move and 勧めるd the Biden 行政 to "否定する any 活動／戦闘 that would give (中国) disproportional 代表 at APEC."
Chinese 大統領 Xi Jinping is also 推定する／予想するd to …に出席する the 首脳会議.
物陰／風下's office did not すぐに 答える／応じる to requests for comment.
Hong Kong 当局 have 逮捕（する）d more than 10,000 people over the 2019 僕主主義 抗議するs.
Since Beijing 課すd the 国家の 安全 法律, 半分-自治権のある Hong Kong has been remolded into the image of 権威主義者 中国 -- with its once-vibrant civil society neutered, nearly all 野党s 解散するd, and its arts and culture 部門s censored.
