Ebola death （死傷者）数 passes 10,000: 世界保健機構
The 全世界の death （死傷者）数 from the Ebola 突発／発生 centred in west Africa has topped 10,000 out of more than 24,000 記録，記録的な／記録するd 事例／患者s, the World Health Organization said Thursday.
Almost all the deaths and 事例／患者s have been 報告（する）／憶測d in the three west African countries worst 攻撃する，衝突する by the 突発／発生: Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.
There have also been six deaths in Mali, one in the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs and eight in Nigeria, all of which have since been 宣言するd Ebola-解放する／自由な.

Spain and Senegal, which have also been 宣言するd 解放する／自由な of Ebola, had one 事例／患者 each but no deaths.
The 世界保健機構 on Wednesday said the fight against Ebola was "going in the 権利 direction".
- Sierra Leone -
Sierra Leone, which has overtaken Liberia as the country with the most 感染s, counted 11,677 事例／患者s and 3,655 deaths as of March 10.
- Liberia -
As of March 5, Liberia -- long the hardest-攻撃する，衝突する country -- had 記録，記録的な／記録するd a total of 9,343 and 4,162 deaths.
But the tide seems to be turning in the country which in August and September was 報告（する）／憶測ing more than 300 new 事例／患者s each week, with the 世界保健機構 説 Wednesday that Liberia had 登録（する）d no new 事例／患者s since February 19.
Liberia's last 確認するd Ebola 患者 was 発射する／解雇するd from hospital after 実験（する）ing 消極的な for the ウイルス for the second time on March 3, the UN 団体／死体 said.
That means Liberia started its 42-day, or two incubation-period, countdown に向かって 存在 considered Ebola 解放する／自由な on March 4.
- Guinea -
In Guinea, where the 突発／発生 started in December 2013, 3,330 Ebola 事例／患者s and 2,187 deaths were 記録，記録的な／記録するd as of March 10.
The 世界保健機構 said on Wednesday that the country had seen no new 事例／患者s in the previous 10 days.

Ebola, one of the deadliest ウイルスs known to man, is spread only through direct 接触する with the bodily fluids of an 感染させるd person showing symptoms such as fever or vomiting.
People caring for the sick or 扱うing the 団体／死体s of people 感染させるd with Ebola are 特に exposed.
As of January 4, a total of 838 healthcare 労働者s were known to have 契約d the ウイルス, and 495 of them had died, the 世界保健機構 said.
