極端に rare photo of Billy the Kid up for sale
It first cost $2 at a junk shop in California. Now it's 査定する／（税金などを）課すd at $5 million and is going on sale again: a photo of Wild West 銃器携帯者／殺しや Billy the Kid.
It is said to be one of only two authenticated images of that iconic 人物／姿／数字 of frontier America.
The tintype 発射 shows the 無法者 -- real 指名する William Henry McCarty -- pausing during a game a croquet in what is now New Mexico in 1878 with members of his ギャング（団）, called the Lincoln 郡 Regulators, and other people, said Kagin's, a 会社／堅い that 専攻するs in Western Americana and rare coins.

In the 4 x 5 インチ (10 x 13 cm) photo, Billy the Kid seems to be smirking or grinning as he 残り／休憩（する）s his croquet mallet on the ground. He is wearing a dark hat that appears to be a 乱打するd, shorter and wider 見解／翻訳／版 of the Abe Lincoln-style stovepipe.
He stands in 前線 of a small 木造の building, to his left is a woman in a ground-length skirt 持つ／拘留するing a baby. その上の still to the left is a group of children.
Kagin's said in a 声明 it will be the 排除的 販売人 of the photo, which was first 購入（する）d at a junk stor e in Fresno, California in 2010 by an Old West 熱中している人 指名するd Randy Guijarro.
It took a year of 熟考する／考慮する to authenticate it, 含むing travel to New Mexico to 見解（をとる） the 位置／汚点／見つけ出す where the photo was taken, Kagin's said.
"When we first saw the photograph, we were understandably skeptical -? an 初めの Billy the Kid photo is the 宗教上の Grail of Western Americana," Kagin's 上級の numismatist, David McCarthy.
The only other authenticated photo of Billy the Kid is a portrait of him taken in 1880. It sold in 2010 for $2.3 million, Kagin's said.
